I did the Budapest City Landmarks Walking Tour today with Edith ( I have probably spelt her name wrong, so sorry 🫤) and it was fantastic. Despite having a large group, our guide was very informative and kept things interesting. Thank you for helping me pass a few hours away during my trip and I learn a lot out the Pest side of the city. 😁

I had Rita as my tour guide yesterday afternoon. She was really nice and personable, and helpful to people looking for guidance at the end, but the content of the tour was very lackluster. I've been on dozens of these free tours in Europe over the years and I've never been so unimpressed. The entire tour went like this: - spend 5-10 minutes walking somewhere. - spend 1 minute (maybe) explaining something. - Now a 5 minute photo break. Rinse and repeat. In 2 hours she maybe talked 10 minutes. I wouldn't recommend doing this tour if you are interested in actually learning something.

Andres is an excellent guide, funny and knowledgeable, sharing insights into language, history, architecture, the sculptures, the bridges, the food. We went on his Pest tour on our first day, which helped us plan what to do for the rest of the time- including going back for the Buda Castle tour on his day! Highly recommended.
