Our family loved all 4 of the free walking tours in Budapest -- overview, communism, Buda Castle, Jewish Quarter. The guides were beyond impressive and professional in their knowledge, ability to clearly communicate, helpfulness, and good humor. Cannot recommend them more highly. They really helped us to get to know Budapest and enjoy our stay. Please, please, tip them generously!!!!

Rita does a very well job doing her tours (i did both buda and pest tour) and can probably talk the whole day about hungarian history. (We just didn't like the retro museums as much :D )
