I quite enjoyed this free walking tour of Budapest. I didn’t realize how little I knew of the origins of the place. Dora was a delightful guide. She was able to explain things well and answer any questions that people had. Her sense of humour was a plus. I would highly recommend this walk. Looking forward to going on some of the others. I subsequently did the Buda Castle walk with Balázs. Also a great guide. Some of the information overlapped from the other tour, but I didn’t mind the refresher. Good speaker. I’d recommend both of these tours.

Rita was a great tour guide! We had a lovely and interesting tour in July 2026. Took about 2 hours. Funny. Friendly. Available. Totally recommend. Do it at the beginning of the tour. Tips are appreciated as this is a free tour even if you pay a small fee for booking (I actually don't think it goes to her). Thank you, Rita!

Kristina was an excellent guide. I don’t usually do group tours as I like my independence. As a tourism professional and educator I am also very fussy. However, if I had not done the tour I would have missed the bees and beehives on the bank building, as well as other interesting bits of information for each building we looked at. For the most part we had a group that was interested in what Kristina had to say although occasionally she had to keep us in line and stop us wandering off. One member of the group arrived late to start to the tour, and at different points in the tour seemed to disagree with what Kristina was saying. She was quite rude actually. The group noticed this but Kristina handled her as best that she could. In the end this person left the tour early which made it easier for all of us. In short, an excellent experience with an excellent guide who I would tour with again if the opportunity arose.
