We did the Welcome to Budapest tour with Boulasz. The walk was a great way to get an overview of the history of Hungary and the main sites to see in the central area. Boulasz was very informative, his idiomatic English was great with a good speaking voice, and he had the answers to any questions we had. We also went on the Buda Castles and the following day the Jewish Quarter tour with Gary. His enthusiasm was infectious and knowledge outstanding. Both tours were so informative and Gary was always happy to answer any specific questions. There was no pressure in terms of payment for all tours, whatever you put in the bag was anonymous. Would highly recommend any of the tours as a great way to discover the city and understand its history.

Bolas gave a fantastic, funny and informative tour. One of the best I had! EDIT: However, the restaurant recommendations put forward by the tour agency are really awful (specifically retro langos) so downgrading to 3 stars Edit as a response to owner's reply: to imply that I did not like your recommendation because the food was not to my personal preference was a really cheap move. I did not like it because the service was awful and even the tap water showed up on our bill. What I expected from you was a local recommendation, not a tourist trap.
