Visited in early October and had an outstanding experience at the Mount Tamborine TreeTop Challenge (Thunderbird Park). We came with our daughter, her two friends, and our son, and the day ended up being a genuine highlight for all of us. When we arrived, we found out our daughter’s two friends were under the minimum weight requirement for the main course we’d planned to do. At first that was a bit deflating — but after going up with my son, I completely understand why the rule exists. Even at the minimum weight, he found a couple of the challenges genuinely difficult to get across. It’s clearly a safety decision, and it’s the right call. What really impressed me was how the team handled the situation. Instead of it becoming a hard “no”, they went out of their way to make sure the girls could still have an amazing day by guiding them onto other challenges and options around the park. They still had the greatest time, and it turned what could’ve been disappointing into a total win for everyone. On the treetop course itself, my son got nervous on one of the bigger lines early on (I think it was the third), and the guides were absolutely brilliant — calm, encouraging, and so professional. They talked him through it, built his confidence, and helped him feel like he really could do it. When he made it across, it was such a proud moment for him — and after that he had the best day. I only wish I could remember the guides’ names because they deserve individual shout-outs. This is the kind of place that feels truly family-focused — not just pushing people through as fast as possible, but actually making it a great adventure, especially for kids. Five stars without hesitation. One of the best experiences of my son’s little life, and definitely one of the highlights of mine. Thank you!

A great place to go for every one to go fossicking for different kinds of gems. Also places to eat stay and play, rest rooms are very clean I've not seen them so clean as they are on the Gold Coast. Lots of choices of food 10 stars

The games were challenging and it was fun The staff were alert and helpful when needed. 4 levels of games are there and it caters to all ages. Drinking water stations and toilets are there closer to the office which makes it convenient. The entire set up and the safety is good Book the tickets in advance by Klook or Pelago as the price is cheaper than the official website

Well maintainanced facility, adaquate difficulty level variation you and kid could choice. very safe. just one problem there may need some waiting time between points because some are slow although it is understanable, could be long.

Brilliant set-up and fun courses. 2 courses are low to the ground and the other 2 are tree height - great for kids of varying confidence. The junior challenge is perfect for 4 to 8 year olds. Incredibly safe with super friendly staff who are organised the session excellently. My 6 year old loved it and would want to come back.

10/10 recommend this experience! Seriously so much fun. It was also extremely safe and couldnt think of anything that seemed like it would break. Everything is so secured and the guides really know what they're doing to make sure its safe and fun. If you havent been before, go here.

The staff were super lovely there but this wasn't my favourite experience. The lines and inductions were longer than expected. Not spaced out well with number of people starting all at once. Distinct lack of water stations I found on the course, although staff kindly offered water to me. Nice place but if you get a busy time be prepared to wait a while.
