It was amazing!! I wouldn’t change anything about the cooking class, absolutely worth it and the chefs were soo kind and lovely. The only thing I would mention to any women traveling alone or with another woman is the area in Palermo is kind of dangerous at night to walk after the class ends to your car (around 10pm), so be aware and try and park as close as you can or schedule a taxi to pick you up. Other than that, 5/5 stars!! :)

Wasn't sure what to expect. Was blown away by the history and the amazing art and sculpture. Wasn't happy that it was way too crowded.

Salva was amazing. Our class was fantastic, well organized and fun. we learned how to take authentic Sicilian dishes (pasta, arancina and canolo). Salva took us to the local food maret and educated us abou Sicilian spices and produce. At the end of the class we all received a certificate of completion of the class. We really enjoyed the atmosphere.

We did the topolino tour with Luisa, and she was amazing! It was very easy to drive and the scenery was incredible. Dinner at the winery was very good as well. Would do this again!

Good tour. Definitely pleased we had someone to explain everything and was also interested to hear about all the different plants we passed. We had a small group which was nice. It did sometimes feel the guide was on autopilot, but guess that’s to be expected.

Es war eine sehr tolle Erfahrung! Unser Pizza Chef Marcello hat sich so viel Mühe gegeben und mit viel Humor und Freude erklärt und unterstützt. Wir haben viel gelernt und es war super lecker. Hat unseren Ausflug nach Palermo sehr bereichert!

Overall a good experience but I would say that the wine tasting / lunch was very poor. The wine tasting was three small glasses of wine (one red, one rose and the option for another one - I think they shared one bottle between ten of us). There wasn’t any actual discussion of the tasting notes - more this is a red which is heavy and this is a rose which is light. The lunch itself was polenta, pumpkin risotto and then an avocado cake, all of which felt like this was done on the cheap. Having said that it was fun driving through the Tuscan hills and it is a unique experience. Although I’d recommend only doing this if you have experience of these types of bikes - you won’t get much practice before hitting the road and you have three “goes” beforehand, if you wobble, then they won’t let you take the bike out. It’s a long day - 10.30am pick up and around 4.30pm drop off at the end of the day.
