You'e got to do this! It was a blast. We arrived in the train station, followed the directions and found our way to the cooking school where Chef welcomed us in. He provided aprons, not the kind you can keep, just loaners, and asked us to wash our hands and find a place at the table. He demonstrated what we were going to be doing then gave us the supplies and step by step monitored our progress. I was surprised because we had no fancy tools or gadgets. We mixed the flour concoction, let it rest, rolled it out with a rolling pin then cut them by hand. Chef poured glasses of Prosecco to toast our success. He demonstrated how to make gelato, so easy! He talked through the sauce making process. finally we got to eat it all: pasta with sauce, ravioli and gelato. Can't wait to try it at home! Such a fun class and a perfect one to do in Italy!

Overall the experience was good. Our guide was great, knowledgable and we went to beautiful places. These are mostly personal preferences that I would’ve liked to know- there would be nothing to eat until almost 3pm. At each stop we had 3-4 very small tastings of wine- for an entire day trip a little more wine would’ve been appreciated. The bus was too tight and uncomfortable for our group. There were words exchanged between people who (understandably!) didn’t want to sit in the back.
