Alfredo was an excellent chef/teacher and made the whole class fun and easy for everyone. We all loved it and all age groups enjoyed it. Thank you also to Mateo for helping the whole time too.

Most disappointing part of our trip
Our entire groups tickets were to include St Peter’s with the guide. She acted like she’d never heard of such a thing and told us we could email Towns of Italy if we had an issue. Even our reminder email sent the night before included St Peter’s. This is untrue advertising. It’s the main reason we selected this tour. She was unfriendly and late. She pointed out countless sculptures, statues with “another beautiful, good condition.” Of the few actual facts she did give, my own child knew some weren’t correct. We got very few insights into the Vatican. I don’t think our guide is knowledgeable or even interested enough in the Vatican to be leading this tour. Of our 9 days in Italy, it was our most disappointing activity and I wished we had saved the money and gone to the Vatican on our own and we are owed money back because it wasn’t the description we booked and paid for.

Authentic Sicilian Cooking Experience
Fantastic!! We thoroughly enjoyed our time cooking with Chef Salvo. He was knowledgeable, interesting and a lot of fun. We learned so much about local produce, with the visit to the market being an integral part of the experience. Would highly recommend to all!!

The time spent learning...
The time spent learning how to make pasta and other Sicilian dishes is also learning about the culture and people of Sicily. Lidia was a knowledgeable instructor. I enjoyed every moment. The market tour was time well spent. I returned in the evening to eat at the restaurant of one of the fish mongers. This was an educational day, in many ways.

Tomasso and co-host were enthusiastic, entertaining and made the experience memorable for my daughter and wife. This is a great way to spend quality time together with family and friends, and make new memories and friends as well.

Fun for Every Age and Ability
The special attention they gave to my 85 year old mom was wonderful. The chef, Victoria, was generous and helpful. She made sure we had an amazing experience. I recommend this class for EVERYONE. It was fun for all ages and abilities. We loved the pizza and gelato.

Baking the pizza was fun. However, I was a little disappointed that despite registering a glutein allergy, there was no glutein-free mozzarella for the pizza available. "Towns in Italy" has every participant sign a confirmation regarding allergies. It would be helpful to take the information regarding intolerances into account when registering. So my tip: gluten-free mozzarella is now available almost everywhere.

I was very disappointed that this class taught how to make Neapolitan Pizza and not Sicilian Pizza. I purposely bought this class to take in Sicily and not Naples for this reason. I already knew how to make Neapolitan Pizza so it was not useful for me. The description should tell you this. Not many toppings to choose from which it also disappointing. The teachers were nice.

ガイドさんは熱心に説明してくれた。 最後の晩餐のみの観覧だったが満足感は高い。 困ったのは、集合時間に集合場所へ行ったが どこに居ればいいのかわからない。 お店はなく広場なので、その場で机を出していた男性2人に麻薬撲滅の寄付をしろとしつこく勧誘される始末。（しかも最低10€だと） 他にも途方にくれて印刷したチケットを持つ人が 建物前のあちらこちらにウロウロしていた。 ガイドらしい女性がおもむろに名前チェックを始める。自分の名前が無くて焦ったが、どうも自分の予約時間の15分前の人が呼ばれていた様子。 その時点で15分押していた。 とりあえずその場所で待てばいいのかと思い ボーっとしていると人がまばらに。 無線機を配っていた青年にチケットを見せると 係が違うと少し離れた人混みを指差して教えてくれた。聞かなければ分からず危なかった。

A Passionate Tour
What an amazing afternoon spent with Alessandro. We couldn’t have asked for a more knowledgeable or passionate guide to take us around these fascinating ancient places. Be prepared for stories and history in equal measure. The man’s a genius!!
