Fantastic experience

We had Carlo as our guide and it ended up being just myself, Carlo and my partner. He made sure to tell us all the information about the Roman forum, Palatine Hill and the Colosseum. He had a picture book to show us the before and afters and knew all the dates of how old each piece of architecture was. He was very friendly and easy to talk to. He made sure to check in with us to see if we had any questions, stopped for the restrooms and explained where we were off to next. Thank you so much Carlo. Best wishes, Emily and Aaron.

Very disappointing!!!

The 3 hour tour we paid for in Palermo was extremely disappointing. The tour guide, while nice, knew very little information about the sites and wasn’t even able to fill the three hour time period. It finished in 2 hours!!! There were 25 people on the walking tour. We phoned to raise a complaint and found the guide and three others and were then told to meet at a cafe for a cannoli. The cannoli were originally included in the price anyway. Only 5 of us were still around and the guide just sat there for the hour while we chatted amongst ourselves. When the bell tolled 12noon she left. I would never recommend this tour - it was a complete waste of time and money.

Luxe tour met uitstekende gids

Hele fijne tour. Goede gids, Lorenzo, die alles goed en rustig kon uitleggen. Aparte ingang zonder rij. Terrassen waren speciaal met prachtig uitzicht. Koepel was ook geweldig!

Fabulous Florence

Our tour guide was a native Florentine. She was able to give us insights and tell us stories that only a local could do. She added a lot of her own personal experiences and was very informative. I thought she did a very good job.

SCAM company

Towns of Italy is a scam. They are not a legit company and will try and steal your money. We purchased private group tickets for the coliseum and pantheon and also the Vatican and Sistine chapel. We paid $736usd for both and it said private group minimum of 4 people at $138€ per person. Upon arriving at the meeting group we were told we only booked one person and not a group and that if we did a private group it was $1,000 per person. I showed Them their website, my receipt and what I chise And they still said $1,000 per person or no tour.

Amazing, authentic experience

I had a very amazing experience in Palermo with the pizza and gelato class, Lidia was very excellent with us, encouraging and knowledgeable. I’m sad to be leaving Sicily, I would definitely do this experience or similar again

Oh my goodness. Alfredo - our host - was absolutely superb. Funny, incredibly knowledgable, supremely Italian. He answered all our questions with wit and humour. He welcomed everyone and imparted his vast knowledge about Italian culture, cuisine and history. Added to that, the experience was so much fun and the pizza I made, despite my best efforts to mess it up, was utterly delicious! Great session. great host, lovely classmates... what more could we ask for? Great value for money.

This was not a 3 hour walking tour. Only 2 hours with an hour of “free time” at the end. We went through the things so fast that there were four people that dropped off because they could not keep up.
