We had a lovely time on the Chianti wine and olive oil trail. We enjoyed learning about how the wine and olive oil was made and it really helped us appreciate the thought and time that goes into this. Our host Lorenzo was incredible, very warm and accommodating. He took particular care in terms of the dietary requirements of all the guest and was really kind to us all.

The guide simply led us around and read a few sentences from her phone. We could have done at least as well by ourselves with an audio guide or booklet. Not impressed at all.

Considero esse tipo de experiência essencial ter um guia turístico, não é possível substituí-lo por um guia de áudio. Por isso essencial esse tour. Poderia ter havido mais tempo, há muita riqueza de informações ali. E por ter sido ao entardecer, poderia ter havido um momento de contemplação e fotos ao por do sol.

We had so much fun at our cooking class! The chef was so fun and we had a great time learning to make pizza and pasta. They were also very accommodating to our needs which we were so grateful for!!

Overcrowded
The guide was excellent. The problem was it was a skip the line tour and we were in line for 40 minutes. It was 40 minutes before we ever saw the first piece of artwork. The museum as usual was fabulous, but there were too many peoplewhich made it un enjoyable for me.

Perfect experience in Palermo
Wonderful event. Lovely Marcelo engaged us all and created a perfect learning experience. We were there with a friends group and enjoyed it really.

My favorite expience in Florence! Instructors were great (we did it twice!) The teenagers with us enjoyed it as well. Provided recipes so we can try it at home.

You won’t save time with this” Skip the Line”
We booked this Skip the line tour with Towns of Italy. The meeting spot was very crowded to start which was unavoidable. There was not a clear definition of who was our tour guide. There were four people checking us in and none of them were the your guide. Our guide “Silvia” showed up at the last minute to lead the group. We lost two people on entry due to a backpack stop , Silvia was made aware that they were left behind but chose to move forward anyway. While Silvia was knowledgeable, she was soft spoken and monotone. There was too much time spent in the musical instruments galleries which were hot and very crowded. As we moved slowly through the musical instruments galleries we lost several others due to time spent and the guides lack of ability to read her audience. Upon the climax’s of the tour, the statue of David we were down to 8 people. Our guide was very informative here and gave insights to the history or David. That is where the tour ended. You need to ask how to exit as it was not clearly defined. While David is a must see be prepared for a hot and lengthy experience for a “Skip the line” here.

Be careful - large group
Excellent tour although the group was much larger than I had expected- 25! I can’t remember the guide’s name- she didn’t introduce herself at the beginning. She was very knowledgeable and imparted a lot of knowledge. The cannoli treat at the end of the tour was badly managed - trying to organise 25 people was chaotic.
