An excellent way to learn about Florence in 90 minutes

The tour was amazing!! Our guide Maria was very friendly and knowledgeable about the city, providing many interesting anecdotes and insights into Florentine history. She was also very helpful in providing several recommendations for places to visit. A thoroughly enjoyable 90 minutes!

The viewing of the fresco was amazing and the info the guide provided was good. But the guide (Vera) was late arriving. It didn't help that it was raining hard. Rushed us through the church quickly because she was late snd we had to get to the ticket office and security. shr only told us when we were leaving the painting viewing that we can go back into the church for pictures. we wizzed past the information panels post security so we could get back on schedule for the timed entry for the painting. Afterwards I asked if we can go back to the info panels. Vera said it's all on thr internet! I didn't pay GYG 5 times the offical site's ticket cost to look information up on the internet!!!!

Marieke, our guide, was wonderful, thoughtful and informative. The experience gave me such a deeper appreciation for Da Vinci and this seminal work of art, its location in Milano, and the context of the fresco within its own historical period.

Must do tour!!

The guide (Kate) was knowledgeable, entertaining, enthusiastic and very caring with the group. The whole experience was exceptional from start to finish. I learnt so much about the history and culture of the Vatican with many humorous anecdotes. Thoroughly recommend.

Everything depends on the guide you get - luck of the draw.

Our guide (I think her name was Francesca) was unenthusiastic, spoke with a very strong Italian accent that made it difficult to understand her and didn't offer radio sets like other guides so she was often muttering to herself. She kept looking at her watch and managed to make Michelangelo uninteresting. Would not recommend.
