De tour op de Vespa was super leuk en een fijne manier om de omgeving te verkennen. Alles was goed geregeld en de scooters reden prima. Minder positief was dat de prijs exclusief verzekeringskosten bleek te zijn – dit werd pas ter plekke duidelijk en had vooraf vermeld moeten worden. De wijnproeverij viel wat tegen: deze was kort, en er was geen rondleiding door de wijngaard of toegang tot de kelders. Ook de uitleg over de wijnen en het productieproces was minimaal.

Mario shared his incredible knowledge of the Valley of the Temples on this tour. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. The site is both impressive & fascinating. We listened intently to Mario’s historical accounts. When you visit this site having a guide is a must. We left knowing so much about the history of Agrigento & the Valley of the Temples site. We visited in June, it was warm but Mario found plenty of shade as we strolled through the valley. Thank you Mario for your passion it was infectious!

Our chef Lisa was absolutely amazing and truly the highlight of the evening. The cooking class itself was a great experience - fun, engaging, and well-organized. One point of clarification: the description mentioned unlimited wine, but the wine was only served during the meal and taken away once everyone had finished eating. It would be helpful if this were more clearly explained in advance, as it sets different expectations. Also, only red wine was offered, which might be a downside for those who prefer white. That said, the overall experience was wonderful and we still had a fantastic time.

What a wonderful experience. Niccolo was a fantastic chef and host for all of us, the timing of all the activity was perfect, no glitches. My family and I walked away feeling very happy for having participated in this. Thank you Niccolo, you’re awesome!

Very knowledgeable guide, lots of interesting facts setting the tone for our stay in Palermo but with a sense of humour and element of fun.

Lorenzo was a fantastic guide. Very friendly, full of great information and accommodating. The tour was just as good. Walking in neighborhoods that I had not yet been too was a bonus. The wine window was so fun.

AMAZING! Our instructor was phenomenal and we had such a great time getting to know all the other participants as well. They provided a great tour and culinary/cultural lesson in the market - bonus we got some amazing tastings! And the food we made was utterly delicious! Highly recommend!

We highly recommend this tour with Towns of Italy! 🇮🇹 From the vaspa practice and ride, air conditioned van with an amazing driver, to the refreshing light lunch, to the amazing wines at the end of the tour, to the ride back to town, the FUN in the van with great music 🎶 and the BEST tour guides Ilaria y Julia!!!
