Staff were friendly, well organised, very knowledgeable and fun. Lots of helpful tips passed on by the chef.

Pasta making is hands on but the chef makes the sauces and gelato. Would have been better to be more involved in these steps too.

Amazing cooking class!

Our pasta and gelato class was amazing! Victoria not only taught us all the tips and tricks she kept it engaging. We met so many new people. Class size was about 12-15 but felt like a personal experience. I can’t wait to try our pasta recipe at home!

Pasta & Gelato Making Class

Thanks for a fun day, learning how to make fresh pasta and gelato! Alfredo was informative and had a great personality with our group. He was accommodating and well-versed in cooking and the history of pasta. We were also served wine, soda, and water during the event. I will say, I was under the impression that we were going to also make the gelato, but you don’t actually get to make it. They just teach you verbally and visually how to make it, but there wasn’t anything hands-on for the gelato making, unlike the pasta. There was one hands-on moment for the gelato, but only two volunteers were able to do it. The pasta making was very hands-on though. Aside from the actual experience, I will also say that the location was difficult to find, so my husband and I were a few minutes late. It was partially our fault because we didn’t see the stairs at first, but I do wish that there were signs to indicate where to go. The workers at other local restaurants had no idea what we were looking for when we asked.

Stephanie was an excellent guide, friendly and knowledgeable. I felt I learnt a lot about the history of Palermo. Plus she had some excellent suggestions for activities for after the tour. The granita crushed ice drink at the end of the tour was most welcome!

Enjoyable Pizza Making Class

I recently attended a pizza-making class that was overall a fun and hands-on experience. The ingredients were fresh, and it was enjoyable learning to knead dough and choose toppings. However, I felt the teacher’s attention wasn’t adequately divided among the group. While some participants received a lot of guidance, others—myself included—were left waiting or figuring things out on our own. A more balanced approach would have made the experience smoother and more inclusive. That said, I still left with a delicious pizza and a few new skills. With improved group engagement, the class could be truly great.

My daughter and I attended this cooking class with Alfredo and it was amazing. Everything we made turned out delicious. Experience was fun and he was a great teacher. Highly recommend when you were in Italy.

Nice experience wonderful staff

Lidia is a wonderful teacher and a master of her art. Making the dough was not easy but she was ready to help out and explain again. Would definitely book another class. We made Pizza and Gelato. You should know that you cannot pick what ice cream you want to make, the whole class makes the same one.

Absolutely amazing! If you are coming to Florence you need to do this! Views are amazing and our guide was extremely kind and knowledgeable! The wine was delicious!

Matteo and Alfredo were fantastic hosts! I took my 14 year old daughter and we had such a good time and learned A TON! Matteo did a great job of instructing, entertaining and fielding questions. We can’t wait to make our own pizza at home!

Ride to Explore First!

We had a nice morning bike ride thru the city. I recommend you doing this before any other tours as it will give you a great perspective of the city and best places to visit. We stopped at numerous places and our guide was an incredibile historian and discussed each place we stopped. Easy flat ride too. Definitely recommend it!

We took a short ride just outside of Florence to spend the night in the beautiful countryside. Our tour guide was amazing! Cristina was very friendly and sweet throughout the whole experience. Highly recommend!

Beautiful journey along the Arno river with an amazing tour guide who was super knowledgeable about the surrounding architecture and the history and stories behind the great city of Florence. Loved the tour!
