This was awesome! Icon Park is so much fun and the Orlando Eye is the heart of it. The views of the city were amazing. Loved the skybar at the bottom before you got on and the fact that you can play your own music via Bluetooth in the pod. My family and I enjoyed this.

A great place to visit!!! If you want some good entertainment without having to pay high theme park prices, then this is the place to go. Located just off I-Drive, The Orlando Eye offers so much for so little. The I-Con Park complex, which is headlined by The Orlando Eye Ferris Wheel, SeaLife Aquarium and Madame Tussaud's wax museum, includes various other entertainments and restaurants. Not only that, parking is FREE!!! Unlike the bigger theme parks where you pay a premium for parking...and that's on top of your park tickets. Highly recommend!!!

When we arrived at Icon Park, the atmosphere was vibrant and filled with excitement, making it look like a fantastic day ahead. However, our spirits were dampened when we were informed that the iconic Ferris wheel was temporarily closed due to inclement weather conditions in the surrounding area. Eager to make the best of the situation, we decided to grab lunch at a nearby café, hoping to return to the attraction once it reopened. Unfortunately, after waiting for three long hours, the Ferris wheel remained shut down, disappointing us. I highly recommend planning your visit to Icon Park with caution, as any lightning detected within a five-mile radius leads to the closure of the rides for safety reasons. Additionally, it’s essential to note that tickets sold are only valid for 15 days from the date of purchase, which adds a layer of urgency to your visit. Thankfully, we had opted not to purchase tickets in advance, so we were not left feeling frustrated or at a loss. Although I completely understand the necessity of such safety protocols, I couldn't help but notice that many employees lounging around seemed uninformed about when or if the rides might resume. Most establishments with similar weather policies typically have a clear plan in place for communicating when rides will reopen, such as a more extended “no lightning within 30 miles” guideline. It was disappointing not to receive straightforward information, as it left many guests, including us, feeling uncertain about our next steps.
