Our team drove an hour to the Orlando Eye for a prepaid holiday experience — fully confirmed by multiple emails, including one sent the morning of our visit — only to arrive and be told the attraction was closed due to a technical issue. No notice, no outreach, no explanation beyond “It’s on our website.” When I asked why confirmation emails were still being sent, staff had no answer. I had to request a manager, request a refund, and at no point did anyone apologize, offer an alternative, or attempt to make the situation right. This was extremely disappointing and reflects a concerning lapse in communication and guest care. I host groups professionally and had planned to bring 30 national guests here in February. Based on this experience, I cannot trust the Orlando Eye with group events or recommend it to others.
