Leo was an exceptional host who guided us through our cooking class. His sense of humour really made our afternoon enjoyable and this is experience is one we will not forget from our time in Seville. The girl who assisted and gave a tour of the market and kept us watered with sangria was an absolute pleasure also.

Fantastic Experience at Taller Andaluz de Cocina

During our trip to Seville, me and my husband decided to join a cooking class at Taller Andaluz de Cocina, right in the heart of the Triana Market… and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our entire vacation. We had such a great time: we cooked, learned, laughed, and tasted delicious dishes and drinks, all in a welcoming and well-organized environment. The three recipes we prepared were not only incredibly tasty but also explained perfectly—complete with stories, curiosities, and little tips that make you feel truly connected to Spanish food culture. A special thank-you goes to Carlo, our chef: brilliant, funny, engaging, and at the same time extremely professional. His genuine passion for cooking is contagious, and he knows exactly how to make everyone feel comfortable, even those who aren’t expert cooks. And heartfelt thanks also to Kai, absolutely lovely and always attentive, who assisted Carlo throughout the evening and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. An absolutely recommended activity for anyone who loves cooking, having fun, and discovering a more authentic side of Spanish gastronomy.

This was so fun! It was great to connect with other travelers while getting a history and culinary lesson all in one. The food was delicious and we came home after our honeymoon to immediately make the dishes for our friends and family.

Learn how to make paella the right way.

Leo was fun as our chef and cooking instructor. I am a vegetarian, and they were able to accommodate me even at the last minute. If you want to learn the correct way to make paella, this class is worth taking because not only is he funny, but he also makes sure everyone participates and gets hands-on experience, no matter your cooking level.

My husband and I enjoyed our Spanish Cooking Class & Triana Market Tour. Ana was very informative and gave us a lot of insight on the foods sold at the market. Pedro was very knowledgeable and helpful with the cooking lesson. He explained step by step the process of making our dishes. We would definitely recommend this class to any family or friend who would want to take this class.

Fantastic cooking experience

This was a trip highlight! Dom and Clara were delightful. The cooking experience was great- we all learned a lot about the little things that make an authentic paella special. And they sent us a list of restaurant recommendations that included Mechela, which was the best meal of our 10 day trip to Spain!

My friend and I loved this class! Great tour of market then a quick walk to the kitchen and started. We did a cold soup, the chick peas & spinach and the best paella I’ve ever had! Great fun people and Chef Pedro (Pablo?) was great. Would highly recommend

The activity was good and I learned some good cooking techniques from the chef. However, they promised to send the recipes we used. I did get an email, but it seemed to contain a lot of empty spaces and no recipes. That was disappointing.

Great Experience with Friendly People

This was an excellent experience. Our two chefs were terrific and worked ever so hard. It was great to meet everyone in the group and our hosts made us feel very relaxed. The attention to detail was superb. I learnt so much in an enjoyable manner. Thank you Davide and Victoria? For a really memorable experience. Hope to go again
