Having done the very enjoyable Stockholm highlights cruise a couple of days before, we were excited to try this trip too. The views were amazing, the little bar adequate and the old ship interesting...but... 1. Don't expect to have seats to yourself. Every seat will be filled and sadly, we saw some passengers who did not appear to have any seat at all in the inside cabin where we were. 2. There isn't a lot of space outside the ship to stand or sit in. However, as you can see from the pics, the views are gorgeous and were taken from the bow of the ship. Look out for a small metal step there which many people miss but is perfect for standing on!

Maybe we were lucky but our experience of this tour appears to have been very different to that of some of the other reviewers here - and was very positive. We arrived at the ticket booth down by the harbour early where Hugo was very helpful in explaining the different boat tours and there was no problem at all in using our Go City pass to get our tickets. We found good seats on board, with excellent views and enjoyed the commentary as we sailed all around Stockholm. We found that the tour really helped us to get our bearings, having only arrived in the city a day before and was really interesting, as well as relaxing. Later that week, we also did the longer - and apparently much more popular - tour to Vaxholm on the 'Stockholm' but to be honest, I much preferred this one.

Wir hätten die Tour fast verpasst, weil das Boot ohne jeden Hinweis auf einer anderen Adresse gewartet hat als vereinbart. Das ist ein absolutes nogo. Man kauft die Aktivität online und dann muss man sich auf den Treffpunkt verlassen können, oder wartet jemand dort und führt dich zum Boot. In unserem Fall hatten wir das Glück durch viel herumfragen (ich hatte den Verdacht, da wir und noch 2 Perosnen die Einzigen waren die warteten) das der Treffpunkt flasch ist, da wiet und breit kein Boot zu sehen war. Als wir dann last second dort hingelaufen sind, hat uns die Kapitäin gleich mal angeschnauzt das wir das Boot nicht betreten dürften. Ich war ausser Atem und musste erst die App von GYG öffnen, meine Kinder sind einsweilen aufs Boot, weil es schon ablegen wollte. Hier muss organisatorisch viel verbessert werden, auf der einen Seite die skandinavische Lockerheit beim Treffpunkt, dann die strenge beim Betreten, das passt nicht zusammen. Die Fahrt an sich war gut, die Tour empfehlen wir!
