Lovely cruise with a really good captain who augmented the automatic description with humour and knowledge! Remember to get your tickets scanned at the desk before you go aboard, so you can collect your cocktail!!! We didn’t, but did it at the end of the cruise!!

We booked the Unlimited Cocktail boat as a birthday treat for a friend to see more of Amsterdam. Unfortunately as soon as we got there the main guide seems to have an issue. When we sat down they told us the rules. Which obviously we would expect due to safety on the water, however it felt like we were having a telling off! It ruined the vibe before we even started to move. Which was such a shame as the boat was lovely and seeing Amsterdam at night from the Canals was beautiful. I would also recommend taking "Unlimited Cocktails" out of the title as one of the first things the guide told us is that this boat is not Unlimited drinks! We had 3 drinks whilst on the boat which were lovely.

We felt this experience was overpriced for what was offered. Tickets can either be purchased by scanning a QR code or by queuing to buy them in person. However, the QR code advertised on-site appeared to direct customers to a different departure location, which was quite confusing. Thankfully, a member of staff still allowed us to join the tour, which we appreciated, but the instructions definitely need to be clearer. Headphones are provided so you can listen to the audio guide in a range of languages, although this means there’s no real opportunity to ask questions or interact during the tour. We were lucky to have lovely weather for the one-hour trip, which made it enjoyable overall, but even so, we didn’t feel it justified the price tag.

This was excellent! We couldn’t fault the staff, especially the cocktail maker and waitress, they worked non stop and as soon as our glasses were empty they were refilled again! Would highly recommend!!

No one was forgotten, no one was left behind – except perhaps mentally, as we gazed at the beautiful facades and canals. Equally impressive was the captain's skill. She maneuvered the boat through the sometimes surprisingly narrow canals with stoic calm, graceful precision, and the determination of a Scandinavian chess grandmaster. At times, we briefly wondered if the boat and the building walls had become one – but every turn was executed perfectly. In short: informative, entertaining, atmospheric, and wonderfully relaxing. Bereits beim Ablegen wurde klar: Hier erwartet einen keine gewöhnliche Touristenfahrt, sondern eine nahezu schwimmende Mischung aus Stadtführung, Unterhaltungsshow und maritimer Präzisionsarbeit. In kleiner, angenehmer Runde wurden wir sowohl musikalisch als auch inhaltlich charmant durch die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt geführt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist dabei unsere Tourguide, die mit bemerkenswerter Energie, Humor und Fingerspitzengefühl dafür sorgte, dass die Stimmung an Bord durchgehend hervorragend blieb. Niemand wurde vergessen, niemand ging unter – außer vielleicht gedanklich beim Blick auf die wunderschönen Fassaden und Kanäle. Ebenso beeindruckend war die Leistung der Kapitänin, die das Boot mit stoischer Ruhe, graziler Präzision und der Entschlossenheit einer skandinavischen Schachgroßmeisterin durch die teils erstaunlich engen Kanäle manövrierte. An manchen Stellen fragte man sich kurz, ob Boot und Hauswand inzwischen eine feste Beziehung eingegangen seien – doch jede Kurve saß perfekt. Kurzum: informativ, unterhaltsam, atmosphärisch und herrlich entspannt. Jederzeit wieder. Einmalig.
