I’m not much of a ‘tour’ person but this was great and definitely worth doing at the beginning of a visit to beautiful Copenhagen. It was fun and you get a much different perspective of the city from the extensive canal network. We learned an enormous amount about the city and its history than we would have otherwise. The tour is included in the Copenhagen Card which I would also highly recommend.

Another experience included in IAmsterdam pass, there are plenty of agencies that organize cruises included in city card, but we chose Stromma, near the museum. The cruise took 1h30 and the căpitan was so fun man, lots of jokes and also good guide, with stories and pointing to the interesting locations around the canals. Also there are speakers inside the boat with audio guides very good synced with the location of the boat on the canals. The boat is half covered, if you are lucky you can sit on the uncovered area on sunny day and have a nice perspective of the streets and canals. Good option for those who are not sure which cruise agency to choose.
