One thing you absolutely should NOT do in Copenhagen. We hopped on the boat and like others headed to one of the 2 outdoor areas so that we could see. The inside is cramped and there’s zero visibility to the outdoors because of the low roof and foggy windows. Without explanation or any courtesy, the driver came and shouted at us to sit inside. There were others seated outside (at the front of the boat). I went up to the front and asked why we couldn’t sit outside so that we could see given that others were allowed. He just shouted at us to get inside and sit down. The young female tour guide proceeded to read from a program in multiple languages. There was zero visibility, zero useful information and we were left feeling that we’d unfortunately been scammed.

This was an excellent tour first of all taking us past all the old and beautiful houses and then out into the wider water area where we passed some of the iconic sites, apartment developments getting a really good sense of the broader area. The tour took a few hours and was a great way to relax and be informed at the same time. Highly recommend this.

We cut our day trip to Roskilde short to ensure we made it back in time for our tour at 16:00, only for the ticket office to close before 15:30 (way earlier than shown on their website). We waited for half an hour to see if the boat would turn up in the 1 degree weather, which it did (although late) but the guide was very rude and also didn't let us on, nor any of the others who were also waiting; saying they were finished for the day and that everyone on the boat was getting off. The boat then sailed away with loads of people still on it. They clearly just wanted to finish early but we're away home tomorrow so won't have a chance to do it again and are unlikely to be refunded. I do not suggest using this company!
