Very poor audio commentary. Not great value
Great to get round the harbour and canals by boat but the audio commentary was an absolute car crash. The narrator’s broken English and constant deviations to tell off passengers for standing up or talking became very wearing very quickly. We were lucky that we had window seats so the view was good but those sat inside were particularly unhappy that they could neither see or hear anything properly. This 1 hour ride didn’t feel like great value for the ~£70 we spent on a ticket for four. Avoid and go on the public ferry instead.

Riktigt trevlig och lärorik skärgårdstur. Första gången vi tog en tur i Göteborgs skärgård och det var ett bra val. Strålande sol gjorde inte saken sämre. Bra guide som lärde oss fler saker på resans gång. Rekommenderar att åka den här turen. Vi tog utan lunch men det är valfritt.

Great way to see the city and surrounding areas with a great commentary
There are various companies that offer tour of the canal areas that bow I went onto had a covered roof with the option of going outside at the back. This is obviously the best option in inclement weather. The tool was extensive through the various areas, residential commercial and central areas. A commentary was given in English which was very good and informative. It gave an overall good overview of the area and was well worth the money. The captain was very skilled navigating a low bridges and performing a 90° tight turn with ease .

We did the 1 hour boat cruise in the evening and it was beautiful (especially because as we were coming back to town the sun was setting). The path they took was lovely and it was a nice side to the city. Our guide Lars was super friendly, funny & told us great stories and facts about the city.

I was on the fence about taking this tour but it was included with my Copenhagen City Card, so I decided to do it and I’m so glad I did! Not only was it a lovely relaxing way to spend an hour but it taught me a lot about Copenhagen in one compact tour. I would recommend doing this when you first get to town. It’s a great way to learn what else you might want to do!
