On Thursday 7th August 2025. We took a CitySightseeing Bus in Stavanger. Firstly - at departure, as it was raining hard, we needed to pull down the plastic 'window' to protect ourselves. The zips on both sides of the bus at the front were broken. The clips to secure this in place were also missing or broken, the metal bar that was along the whole length of these plastic windows was bent so even if the clips to secure this in place were not broken or missing, it would have been impossible to secure the metal bar. Us, and other passengers nearby spent their whole journey holding onto the frame, as it was impossible to try to roll the thing back up as we were driving along. This was extremely unsafe and dangerous. As the speed of the bus increased so did the pressure on us to hold ontothe bar to prevent it flapping outwards with more intensity and possibly hitting people further back. Secondly, where we were sitting - upstairs at the front - the headphone connectors did not work. The ones on the seat next to us stopped working after 10 minutes. So even if we weren't occupied holding on to the window all the way round, we had no knowledge of what to see and what we were meant to be looking at. When spoke to the driver about the condition of this plastic window, he just stated that he knew and seemed disinterested. We explained all our frustrations to the manager at the booking office and she refunded our fare in full. Our intention was not for a refund, it was for the lack of opportunity to hear about the city we were visiting and that the plastic window was not fit for purpose.

Very nice boat tour experience within the Amsterdam. The guide was quite experienced and explained nicely the history of the city. The complete tour takes around an hour. Will suggest to go for open boat tour during evening time. Carry umbrella as sometime it rains.

Guidning på båten bestod endast av utpekade av 2 platser. Guidningen av Birka var ibland felaktig, guiden kunde inte Birkas historia o kunde inte svara på några frågor. Han sa att han var arkeolog men visste inte vad en skeppsättningsgrav var. På en fråga sa han att han inte orkat läsa igenom all fakta om utgrävningsrna på Birka. Copenhagen Canal Boat Tour was Wonderful

We had a wonderful canal boat trip in Copenhagen, Denmark with a terrific bi-lingual guide on board who gave enough information w/out it being too much - on the highlights along the main waterway downtown and a side trip into a house-boat community. Three boats are running continuously and you can reserve a time online, or upon arrival. The tour is just under an hour, so not your whole day, either. Recommended!

Did the Stockholm Highlights tour. I don’t feel the tour needs to be 2.5 hrs long. There is a lot of dead time and lack of info. Motorway bridges are not really on a par with cruising the Seine or the canals of Amsterdam or Copenhagen. The AI commentary was awful. They really need to understand that when you come on a sightseeing trip you want local insight and character. You want to hear how the names and places are properly pronounced. Not some fake americanisation with an AI voice. The info was pretty sub par. Telling us what an AI thinks a typical Swede is aint what we need to hear ( apparently the favoured pet is a Labrador retriever - who gives a toss about that!). It was repetitive and a bit insulting to be honest. The views are decent. Personally - having done this - I’d recommend getting a travel pass and riding a few local ferries. The Stromma service does not add anything worthy to the experience.
