Total waste of money and time.. I and my wife took the hop on hop off Helsinki tour on 13 August 2025.. And we were bitterly disappointed. We tried several headsets until we found a working one.then the plug was faulty. We had to change seats to find a working plug. Then we could not hear the driver's announcements on pa system. Service operates for only 6 hours a day.. between 10am and 4pm.. This is hardly enough when days are 16 hrs long.. Then you wait around 40 minutes at stops for the next bus.. they should be every 15-20 minutes like other cities.

Very bad experience we paid full ticket with guide in our own languages and the guide was not working at the beginning at all. Then it was only available via the microphone of the boat and only in English. Impossible to listen and understand with the noise of the people on board and my husband who does not speak English lose the opportunity of the guided tour. Unacceptable

The boat tour was fabulous. The City tour is decent. Always a good way to get your bearings in a new city. But why all Hoho Companies make it so darn hard to get info online on bus stops and routes is beyond me. It’s good to know this when choosing accommodations.

Unsere Fahrt hat auf Grund eines Motorschadens des Schiffs, nicht stattfinden können. Nun haben wir das mit der Zahlungsmethode „Klarna“ gebucht. Und der Betrag ist nun fällig. Ich erreiche seit Wochen niemanden um diese Angelegenheit zu klären, davon abgesehen wäre es auch logisch gewesen, das wir von Viator eine Info dazu bekommen, bzw. eine Meldung das die Buchung selbstverständlich gelöscht wird. not in love with this trip

We didn't love it. Maybe people at the top of the boat would've had a better experience because maybe they would've heard what they were trying to describe over the loudspeaker. We were in the inside of the boat and you really couldn't hear what she was saying. So were driving all over the place and it's pretty to look at the water in the various buildings that we don't know what they are.
