A tour that offered both knowledge and lots of laughs

I went on the Canal Sightseeing Boat Tour of Malmö at the end of August together with a group of friends (we were 8). We all think that it was an absolutely fantastic tour. The guide was nice, knowledgeable and very funny.

Great experience with this boat tour, went on a rainy day and the city still sparkled. If you can I recommend taking a boat tour of Amsterdam and this company was great for us. Had a great captain, he was friendly and knowledgeable.

We really enjoyed the archipelago dinner cruise on SS Stockholm. We opted for the vegan menu and it was excellent, a really thoughtfully put together menu. Service good and views of the archipelago spectacular as you'd expect. A real treat!

Schöne Fahrt durch die Natur und Geschichte bei Helsinki. War leider die 1. Hälfte der Fahrt zu nebelig um viel zu sehen. Die Qualität des Audiokommentars lässt auch viel zu wünschen übrig. Schlechte Ki-Stimme und mäßig gute Übersetzung (Deutsch) Inhalt war auch leider nicht so interessant. Live-Kommentar wäre deutlich besser.

Värd att åka!

Det här var en liten annorlunda runda att åka utmed Säveån. Man fick se en annan sida utav Göteborg. Guiden var mycket trevlig och berättade hela tiden om allt vi såg. Vi åkte även inne i Göteborg på kanalerna. Väl värd att åka!

Schöne Eindrücke, aber Plätze und Sicht enttäuschend

Wir haben am 8. September 2025 die Bootstour durch die Schären mit Lovely Cruises gemacht. Das Wetter war traumhaft, die Landschaft wunderschön und der Guide wirklich super, sehr freundlich, informativ und sogar auf Englisch, Deutsch und Schwedisch unterwegs. Trotzdem waren wir insgesamt nicht ganz überzeugt. Wir waren etwa zehn Minuten vor Abfahrt da, standen aber trotzdem am Ende der Schlange und kamen als Letzte aufs Boot. Die besten Plätze waren schon weg, und drinnen ist die Sicht leider sehr eingeschränkt. Das Schiff hat zwei Etagen, was bei schlechtem Wetter praktisch ist, aber an sonnigen Tagen ist das Oberdeck schnell voll. Innen sind die Fenster stark verschmutzt, sodass gute Fotos kaum möglich sind. Die Route selbst ist nett, aber das Boot fährt relativ weit entfernt von den Ufern. Andere reguläre Kursschiffe waren teilweise dichter dran. Vielleicht ist das aus Naturschutzgründen so, aber man hat dadurch nicht immer das beste Panorama. Ausserdem haben wir keine Robben oder andere besonderen Tiere gesehen, was ein bisschen schade war. Wer trotzdem mitfahren möchte, sollte unbedingt früh da sein, um einen guten Platz am Oberdeck zu sichern. Wer flexibler sein will, kann auch überlegen, mit einem regulären Schiff rauszufahren, zum Beispiel für ca. 75 SEK bis Nagradstrand und später für den selben Preis zurück, man sieht fast genauso viel, kann aber zwischendurch aussteigen. Insgesamt war es eine nette Tour, vor allem wegen des Wetters und des tollen Guides, aber wir würden beim nächsten Mal eher ein kleineres Boot oder eine individuellere Fahrt wählen - also nicht zu empfehlen.

Very informative and efficient tour and overview of Malmo’s highlights.

This was our second Stromma canal tour in one week (the previous one was in København). We enjoyed them both immensely. Both boats were full of passengers but there was ample room to take photographs and see the sights. We also enjoyed the humour of the guide and the boat captain, although they were very knowledgeable and informative. We found the explanations clear and concise and the switch between Swedish and English was seamless. We liked the story about the lonely yellow bench especially. We only wish the tour could last for longer.

Trevlig båttur i Malmö

Mycket trevlig och fin tur. Vackert väder bidrog såklart till upplevelsen. Snabbpratande guide som gav ett kunnigt intryck. De i sällskapet som har lite nedsatt hörsel hade dock lite svårt att uppfatta en del av innehållet i berättandet. Sammanfattningsvis en fin tur med guide som förgyllde resan med humor o kunskap.
