My partner and I hired a canal bike on a windy day. The person at the counter was very knowledgable, friendly and helpful. Using the taxi itself was quite tricky though, getting the hang of it was a little stressful particularly with the bigger boats beeping their horns at us but it was also fun. Also, I'm short (155cm) so have to sit right at the edge of the seat to reach the peddles. Other than that, it is a great way to see the canals and you can get good photos if you're not struggling to peddle. Was very fun and I do recommend it... but it can be a bit of a workout on a windy day!
