It would have been nice to see Amsterdam through a cruise but Stromma failed us. Bought regular tickets online and the light festival was on going that time. Wasn't aware that the regular boats stopped at 4:30pm during the festival. They were nice enough to let us pay the difference to take the boat for the festival. However, the last 2 boats ended up to be full. They offered to take us on the open boat but it was too cold and we had our baby with us. Even with blankets, we didn't wanna risk getting sick. So we got refunded only the difference of what we paid and they saud we have to send an email to get the refund for the rest. It would have been nice if they had placed a major sign online that says regular cruises are only open till 4:30 during festival or it the transaction should not have gone through if boats are fully booked. It wasn't just us. There were quite a bit of people who wasn't able to get on the cruise. On the plus side, the staff were all nice but there wasn't much they can do.

THE best way to see Copenhagen for a visitor. The canal tour starts and stops in Nyhavn. Commentary is available in English & Danish and if you are lucky then the guide might even speak your language. They cover all the important canals and talk about the major buildings enroute.
