Damit man mal ein Sportevent in Amerika gesehen hat, haben wir uns für Eishockey bei den Panthers entschieden. Wir waren von der Stimmung sehr enttäuscht… bei der Pregame-Show war die Arena noch halb leer und füllte sich erst kurz vor Face-off. Die Stimmung schnellte nur bei den Nationalhymnen und bei den Toren hoch, ansonsten war es ein eher ruhiger „Familiennachmittag“. Die Preise haben es in sich und zeigen, dass die NHL ein Milliarden-Geschäft ist. Der Parkplatz kostet 45 $ zzgl. Steuern. Da die Arena außerhalb der Stadt liegt, kann nur dort geparkt werden. Die Preise für Essen und Getränke schlagen ebenfalls ordentlich zu. Die Sicht war bei unseren Plätzen (hinter dem Tor auf mittlerer Höhe) sehr gut. Für Fans ist der Trip empfehlenswert.
