Adraina, I think that was her name, very polite and friendly. The tour itself was good, very informative and showed us place we didn't see before. We was hoping to go into deep dark places to maybe see a ghost or 2. We actually thought it was a ghost tour. Great stories were told though.

The tour guide had a thick accent and was hard to understand. He gave some inaccurate information. And the foods that were picked to present were very common Spanish tapas. I was hoping for more unusual Catalon foods.

I did the mystery tour of gothic quarters with Carolina. It was a great experience. Being a history lover, I got to know so many legends and stories of Gothic Quarters. Carolina was great as tour guide mentioning the facts with detail. I loved this and will highly recommend it who loves to know more about Barcelona.

We had an excellent experience on the Barcelona Food Tour with Side Routes Barcelona Tours. The food choices were genuinely spot on — a great mix of authentic local flavours, quality ingredients, and plenty of variety. Every stop felt well selected, not touristy, and you could tell the team really cares about showcasing the real food culture of Barcelona. What made the tour even better was the guide/leader. Super organised, friendly, and confident, with a great way of keeping the group together while still making everything feel relaxed and fun. They explained the background of what we were tasting, gave great local tips, and managed the pace perfectly so nobody felt rushed. Overall, fantastic value, great atmosphere, and delicious food from start to finish. Highly recommended if you want a proper Barcelona food experience with a strong leader and a well-planned route — we’d 100% do it again!
