I agree with the reviewers who have said that this aquarium is quite small and a little overpriced. I also agree that it has not been updated very much over the last few years since my last visit. Maybe they could add another interactive exhibit or a rotating exhibit, or maybe some more informative plaques and signs. However, we had a very successful day out with our little toddler here. During the cold Michigan winters, It can be difficult to find activities indoors. But this was a easy and fun activity that our toddler really enjoyed. Because it's inside the mall, we were also able to go walk around and look at some other things to keep him entertained even longer. We went to the rainforest cafe and a few other stores. It was a nice day out and I would probably come back even though the aquarium itself is too pricey - about $28 per adult when I visited.

The employee Carlos is the reason for the 5 stars not the aquarium itself. He was very interested in educating me and my family on the aquatic life they had and shared facts we did not know. He delivered the information with a smile and seems to really appreciate and care for the animals. If you take your family, be sure to find Carlos to enhance the experience.

Amazing full day experience with kids. Enjoyable rides and fabulous dolphins, sea lions show. I will love to travel again and again here

Good fish tanks, great staff, TERRIBLE information signs. The non-digital signs were impossible to read in the dark, and all of the signs were too small. Some of them were out of date and others were in weird places- like at the very end of the long section for the big tank.
