A fantastic day trip for my kids. I'd recommend you do the Beyond the Surface Tour one day! I loved all of sharks and eels!

I visited SEA LIFE Kansas City recently and was really pleasantly surprised at what a nice little aquarium this is. It has all kinds of little details to make it a special place to bring kids or even on a date. In addition to the tanks, there are little "bubbles" where you can crawl in and feel like you are right in the middle of where the sea life is. The tanks look well maintained and the creatures all looked healthy. There is a good flow of traffic, and only one place seemed to get stopped up (the tunnel where you are surrounded on three sides by the water). The staff were helpful and friendly, and seem to genuinely care about what they are doing. One note is that if you are wanting to go to LEGOLAND, you will need to have a child with you. As someone who knows a lot of adults that collect LEGOS, I was surprised to learn this (although I certainly understand the reasoning). Definitely get tickets in advance to take advantage of the discount.

I am an aquarium enthusiast. My child's school went here for a field trip. This aquarium is located inside Concord Mills Mall. It is small however it has enough attractions to hold a small child's attention. I wouldn't recommend groups larger than 30 to visit as there is not truly enough space to move through it. It is an unguided walk through. However, the representatives are all helpful, professional and occasionally walk through and willing to answer any questions one may have. There is a touch tank stocked with starfish and small shells. Again just enough for a small outing to learn and see tropical and freshwater sea life.

The tunnel where you can see the sea life was amazing. Decent size aquarium for being in a mall but was a little expensive. For the price I wish they offered a little more.

Fun small aquarium. Some amazing exhibits. The sea turtles were cool. Loved the eels. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable
