Our group of 15 people had ideal weather for the day of our cruise and luncheon (16 May 2026). The scenery across the lake is absolutely spectacular. Walter Peak is a great destination and the smorgasbord luncheon was plentiful and tasty. The farm show was well worth attending, especially for the children in the audience. The only negative comment is that we felt rushed after our meal. Our group would have preferred to savour the exquisite view from the restaurant patio, plus a couple more drinks.

Great tour - initially questioned the price but is worth every penny. Our driver Grant was incredible at his job - clearly loves what he does, top bloke and a 10/10 guide.

We have been travelling around NZ for over 6 months and this was one of our FAVORITE things we’ve done in the whole country. We would recommend it over Milford every time and we could have really enjoyed the 2 night cruise! Staff was incredible, Davi was sharp and insightful and the food and rooms were great quality.
