The weather was not great but still an enjoyable experience. The previous day we did Doubtful Sound that was spectacular and the weather was good so I guess I am making comparisons and Milford came second

Really enjoyed the day. The tour was well organized and on time. The boats and bus were clean, well equipped and comfortable. The nature guide gave good information about the sound and rainforest. We enjoyed the day.

Trip was good, but in my opinion Milford Sound was a lot better experience no where near the cost and better scenery, just feel for what it was a bit it was a bit overrated, mind you others loved it, but hadn’t done Milford.

The trip exceeded expectations. My wife was so taken by the “pirate ship” feeling of going into the Tasman Sea and spent almost all her time above deck enjoying the sun and wind in her hair. I was there for the experience but when they started serving us great food, it really made the experience greater. Rooms were also super comfortable.

We had a great day at Doubtful Sound. The commentary on the boats and the coach were very informative. We were very lucky after rain in the morning the sun was out at Doubtful Sound. Would highly recommend this trip!

Different to our Milford Sound experience..everything was planned and travel was laid on for day, because of this it was more relaxing. It ran smoothly. Weather was mixed, good for seeing all tempory waterfalls but abit choppy near the sea, although the ships pilot was good at minimising the effects of this. Liked the information given on each leg of journey, although due to engine noise on deck on Doubtful Spund leg, we were on couldn't always hear the commentary. Would have liked free tea and coffee on both boats, like we had on the Milford Sound Cruise. It was available but wasn't free..We took sandwiches and water with us.
