An amazing day out, made even better by how well everything was coordinated by the tour operator. The journey itself was part of the experience, we first travelled by coach to Te Anau, then crossed Lake Manapouri by boat, followed by a scenic bus ride over the pass before finally boarding the larger vessel in Doubtful Sound. It sounds like a lot of transfers, but everything ran smoothly and added to the adventure. The day was absolutely worth it, and our guide kept us engaged throughout with fascinating stories, history, and insights about the region along the way.
