We did two tours with this company: The walking tour in Medellin with Dio 🙂 I recommend to everyone! Super authentic, genuine and caring. Learnt so much and am ready to explore even more Medellin. It was a absolute good choice to start our first day in Medellin with this tour. The comuna 4 transformation with Pablo and Ortencia: we actually extended our stay in Medellin just to be able to take part of this tour and it was so soooo worthy!! It was one of the best tours we did and very touching. Anyone should do this tour and support the community by doing it. Pablo made it extremely nice as he is very knowledgeable and made the story of transformation interesting to listen, he always gave all the facts and stayed away from posing his opinions unless asked, very professional! after this tour, I felt fascinated by the people, the culture, everything they went through and the smiles and proudness on their faces. All the structure we have given in our countries, was build (and destroyed and built again) by the community- 5/5 and thank you Real city tours for supporting as well such communities and give us the right information!

I finished this tour wishing the whole world experienced what I just did. Our local tour guide Dio gave a passionate account/history of Medellin from the dark days to the transformation and present. I was hooked from the beginning to the end of this 3-hr walking tour as I listened to this articulate and intelligent young man who lived through a lot, educate me about this city and the country he loves so much.

Such great storytelling, organisation, and knowledge. Ended the session with an amazing insight into the city, the people, the culture. The guide Dio was awesome and he capped it off with a set of recommendations for different restaurants, bars, etc. Everything was so well explained, with genuine passion and insight. I genuinely felt emotion about the city. Not just bland history like I’ve had in other cities. I actually did this same tour in 2015, and was one of the most enjoyable and memorable tours I did throughout South America, was really fun doing it again.

Dio was an amazing guide! I’ve done a lot of walking tours through travelling and this was undoubtedly the best one I’ve ever done. I loved hearing about Dio’s personal experiences and he brought his amazing sense of humor and personality to the tour. Would recommend to absolutely anyone!
