If there is one thing you do on your first day in Medellín, make sure it is this. The tour will give you a much more nuanced, authentic and truthful perspective than anything you can read or watch about the city. Dio our tourguide was fantastic, and he gave us loads of recommendations of places to eat, see salsa, have a drink, etc.

Great tour thanks to Dio! Very interactive. It was very informative and authentic as he is native to the city. Took me to places I likely would never have been to and was very open/honest/forthcoming with answers to our questions. A must do if you have 4 hours in Medellin !

Had an awesome time on the walking tour this past weekend! Our guide Dio is very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of his city of Medellin. His method of telling the story of Medellin is second to none and you can tell he really cares a lot. He is happy to answer questions along the way and does a great job of describing the feelings and ambience of whatever timeframe he is discussing. Thank you Dio for a great tour!!
