Awesome excursion of Banff and surrounding area.

Ollie, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in Banff and the outlying areas. He was friendly, articulate and very inclusive. He was interested in our experiences and how he could give us the best experience. He knew his history and geography of the areas we visited. He shared some photos of the area at different times of the year so we could better understand the climate of the western Rockies. If we had rented a private van and a local guide, I do not think we would have had as good an experience. The tour ran about 6 hours and was filled with beautiful sights and experiences. The provided lunch was enjoyed by all. I would definitely recommend this excursion for an enjoyable day.

Ollie’s knowledge of the area, additional tidbits and geniality made for a fascinating, invigorating and completely enjoyable tour. His easy talking style made it easy to engage with his presentation and he was able to draw upon his knowledge of geology, history, botany and his experience as a guide to really enrich the experience. Complete value for money.

The Radventure day-trip “Rockies Hidden Gems” was excellent. Our guide, Ollie, was knowledgeable, but also very friendly and low-key: a perfect match for our small group. They were always ready to take a photo or explain a plant. Highly recommend!!

Loved it!

Fantastic adventure! Getting up early was well worth it. We lucked out on the weather and saw the sunrise reflecting off the mountains, and a gorgeous reflection of the mountains in the lake. Of course, Lake Louise was beautiful too, and the hike to the look out was challenging for this 67yo, but so glad I did it. The van was very comfortable (we tend to avoid buses), and Tyler, our guide, was a great drive and tour guide. Highly recommend!

(Translated by Google) This certainly cannot be called a wildlife tour. You pass through the very touristy areas with campsites and lots of people. Furthermore, the actual wildlife spot is on a golf course. Too sad for words for so much money! Additionally, we were ready promptly at 5:25 PM, but the guide was late. We didn't leave until 5:45 PM, and we were dropped off at 7:05 PM. The tour was supposed to last 3 hours. Wasted money! (Original) Dit mag zeker geen wildlife tour genoemd worden. Je gaat langs de zeer toeristische delen met campings en veel mensen. Daarnaast is de echt wildlife spot op een golfbaan. Te triest voor woorden voor zoveel geld! Daarnaast stonden we netjes om 17.25 uur klaar en kwam de gids te laat. We vertrokken pas om 17.45 en om 19.05 werden we al afgezet. De tour zou 3 uur duren. Weggegooid geld!

Shout-out to Taylor!!! The tour was amazing, the tour guide was super chill and knowledgeable for a lot of Banff-related lore like The Boss and Splitlip, etc. the views at Lake Moraine and Lake Louise were breathtaking. Tots a must once-in-a-lifetime-or-more tour when you go to Banff.

Our guide for the Electric Biking Banff Adventure was Lubo, who displayed not just knowledge about the area, but also a genuine keen interest in the man made structures, the terrain, the flora and the fauna.

Highly recommend exploring the Canadian Rockies with Radventures! The customer service and attention to detail exceeded all our expectations. We had an incredible guide named Aaron who has definitely found his calling in this role. His positive energy and focus on making sure everyone had the best time and left informed was so appreciated. Thank you for making our 25th wedding anniversary vacation so memorable! We loved seeing the beautiful scenery along the Icefields Parkway, which included lakes, waterfalls and the Glacier Discovery Centre. Added bonus: Aaron is an amazing photographer who gladly helped us get just the right angles. Now the only challenge we have is picking which photos to frame!

Worth it!

We traveled all over town and saw all the best sights! A little bit of a learning curve with the e-bike, but I may never go back to a regular bicycle.

Fantastic experience

Absolutely loved our day with Charlie. A really knowledgeable and entertaining guide and great way to see and learn about the icefields parkway. Charlie knew all the great places to stop for views and photos and we even saw a black bear. Also Included a walk out to the toe of the glacier which we loved. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous lakes, loads of facts and epic pics

Really easy to book and the whole day was effortless. Our guide (Dan) was super knowledgable about the area and shared loads of fun facts! All the best photo spots were pointed out and we didn’t feel rushed at all, great trip!

Don’t let the sun set on your chance to book Radventures Sunset Lakes Tour!

I’m a Canadian living abroad, and finally brought my British partner to Banff to experience the Rockies for the first time and booked the Sunset Lake Louise and Moraine tour. Our fun and informative guide Ollie took a wonderfully small group of four of us to the Lakes, and gave us detailed information about their history and natural elements. He advised on the best viewpoints and lookouts according to the group member’s individual ability and interest, and was very clear on timings. He also took the initiative to offer to take photos of us at every site! The Lakes were phenomenal, but Ollie really went above and beyond when we rounded Morant’s Curve (of train photograph fame), and as we carried on, several minutes down the road, passed an approaching train. Ollie turned the van around and took us back to the Curve and safely helped us cross the mountain road to take a recreation of the famous photo, which was a very special and rare experience! His own excitement at seeing it added to ours. He also kept good time to take us down the Bow Valley Parkway to look for wildlife, and shared amazing facts about wildlife, both answering our questions and sharing his own favourite tidbits on various animal and plant species. I would highly recommend Radventures, you certainly feel you’re getting a more local perspective and curated experience than the large tour companies, and you couldn’t go wrong with Ollie for a tour guide!

Lake Moraine Sunrise & Lake Louise tour

The sunrise at Lake Moraine was incredible. Unfortunately the lot was full upon our arrival but our guide, Liam prepped us for this possibility and provided excellent instructions for navigating ourselves to the rockpile to await the sun to rise. Liam guided us along the lakeshore of Lake Louise pointing out berries, foliage and other notable items within the landscape.

Fun, informative tour

We had a evening fantastic tour with Liam. Very entertaining and saw big horn sheep and a group of elks. Great introduction to Banff and the surrounding area

Not recommended

There is a large discrepancy between the product description and the actual tour. Much of the tour was carried out in populated areas and therefore not likely to increase your chances of seeing wildlife. Some of the views were spectacular, the guide was pleasant. Our tour was only 2 1/2 hours. I would never do this trip again.
