Excellent tour and guide
Dave was an exceptional tour guide. Witty and interesting. We saw Chicago through different eyes! Also introduced us to iconic Chicago popcorn and chocolates. Really enjoyable.

Mickey was fabulous and a wealth of information. We loved all of the stops and especially the history of each food establishment as well as the history of Brooklyn.

Poor Tour Guide
Seeing the monuments at night was absolutely beautiful, and we were really looking forward to this experience. Unfortunately, the tour guide made it very dry and unengaging — even my husband, who is a history buff, found it difficult to stay interested. I can’t recall her name, but I truly believe our experience would have been far better with one of the highly-rated guides mentioned in other reviews. She spent an excessive amount of time parked and talking about the Department of Labor, inserting her own political views, which felt unnecessary and out of place. That time could’ve been better spent visiting the monuments we were told we wouldn’t have time to see due to the tour starting late and road closures. She rushed us through several stops, and although we parked right outside the Washington Monument, she never once offered to take a family photo — not for us or the other couple in our group. We were traveling with our three kids, and while kids can get bored, she made no effort to engage them or make the tour interesting for them. To make matters worse, it was freezing cold, and while we were told blankets would be available, there weren’t enough for everyone. All in all, this could’ve been a memorable experience, but it fell short due to the lackluster guide. I’d strongly suggest requesting one of the well-reviewed guides if you decide to take this tour

Bobs food tour
Bob is the best food tour guide! Despite the rainy weather in Boston that day he remained accurate and at the same time very funny and so knowledgeable! He brought us to more local places rather than a chain and known to tourists. Which what me & my friends loved so much coz we love food that are so good and that you can buy and eat locally! He had a lot of recommendations not just in food but also in places to go and movies as well! Bob and this tour is highly recommended!

Despite the rain, snow, and the cold. I learned a lot about Chicago. Our tour guide Dash was very knowledgeable about its rich history and he provided us with several “Did you know?” fun facts, which was pretty cool.

What a great and efficient experience. Request Tyler D'Ambrosio - his all around general knowledge of all things historical is unmatched. If he doesn’t know something, he’ll find out for you and follow up. But also, he keeps you moving and is concise; this is a food tour as well as a history lesson - so he has everything planned and pre-ordered, but still the food is all fresh when you get there. Highly recommended.

DO NOT BOOK! Horrible customer service
Our flight was late and we called ALL DAY with no response. No voicemail- no answer. No customer service whatsoever. Basically they took our money and we never got to even do the ride. We would have been willing to go another night or just anything- but they would not answer the phone. Horrible customer service!

Dash gave a very informative and entertaining Chicago tour. We are familiar with the city and still learned so much. Dash is a wealth of knowledge and we appreciated his flexibility and ability to adapt around tour members goals and unexpected city happenings. We had a great day!

Chose a bad weekend but good tour overall
Our guide was very knowledgeable, and we enjoyed being on the golf cart for the ride. Unfortunately, we scheduled this before realizing so many roads would be shut down due to a 10k and planned protests. I completely understand needing to change routes, but it would have been nice to be given the option of rebooking or cancelling or having some kind of communication of the road closures at all. We didn’t get to see MLK, or the White House and took round about roads to get back on the main path. Again, our driver had to be flexible too but I would have probably cancelled and done a walking tour if i knew roads would be closed.

Perfect DC tour
I am so glad I did this tour 1st. The capital mall is huge and would take days to walk view the high lights. I highly recommend an open air tour like this if it’s your 1st time in DC to get an idea of where everything is. We started at the capital, made our way to the Washington memorial, Jefferson memorial, Lincoln memorial and then dropped off by the White House. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Great way to see the monuments in DC.
