Great food & neighborhoods

Brian gave us a delicious and educational tour of Brooklyn neighborhoods and local shops. It’s amazing that Brooklyn has maintained such a local oriented food culture.

Uitstekende rondleiding met onze topgids Dash!

Dash was onze gids.

Lexie is amazing

Lexie was amazing on a curated tour of food and history in Boston. The guide makes all of the difference! We tasted amazing food in the North End and learned the history of the city along the Freedom Trail. Spectacular.

Great food! History Lessons Brought to Life!

Nabil was an excellent tour guide. When my grandchildren reach their 13th birthdays, I gift them a weeklong trip in the U.S. Keith wanted to ice skate on a pond and he had studied American History so he chose Boston. He skated on Frog Pond and visited Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, Salem, the Illusions Museum and Boston Tea Party Museum and Re-enactment, and more. When planning the trip I saw this tour and knew it would be perfect for his love of Italian food. The three of us enjoyed this tour from beginning to end and have told all our friends about it. If I give a 10–star rating, I definitely would. Nabil gave us so much history and we were thrilled to say hello to all the owners of the shops. My only regret is not knowing your company offers driving tours which would have been so much nicer than the Uber and Lyft rides we took.

Great Experience - Even in Snow!

Reggie did an incredible job showing me all the great monuments and memorials, sharing a wealth of interesting information. He clearly has done his research and listens to his customers. He knew I worked in higher education and took a route that would go past the Dept of Education building.! Even in the rain/snow, he had blankets to keep it comfortable. Great experience - highly recommend!!

Great tour guide! This Seattlite learned a lot about coffee and Seattle!

Our guide was Sam, he was knowledgeable, kind, thoughtful, and fun! I learned a ton and tried coffee I wouldn't have otherwise. Both the Cofftail and mushroom coffee were things I normally wouldn't try. They were both delicious. Good blend of Seattle + coffee history. It was very cool to hear about the process, then see it at the end in action at Starbucks reserve. The best part, though, was the personality and individuality Sam brought to the tour. From his sense of humor to knowing the people at some of the stops, it's clear Sam is from, and cares deeply about, Seattle. Would recommend to friends!

A coffee drinkers must

This tour was my son’s idea. I had absolutely no expectations. I was pleasantly surprised with the tour. I learned a lot about Seattle and about coffee. I really appreciated that upfront, he let everyone know that he wasn’t going to get political. Our tour guide, Lee, was amazing.

Taste and Learn

The amount of knowledge of different foods and the origins of the different samples we enjoyed provided us a new perspective of the history of what is available to eat.

Delectable food, local lore, skilled guide make Brooklyn neighborhoods accessible

This 3-hour walking tour brings the history of three Brooklyn neighborhoods to life through the animated narration of a local guide. Walking up and down inclines, examining the structure of brownstones, seeing the country's first vest pocket park, and viewing storefronts that reflect the multiethnic fabric of the Cobble Hill, Brooklyn Heights and Carroll Garden areas was a first introduction to Brooklyn for my friend and I. We visited many locally owned small food businessed, met their proprietors and ate delectable samples along the way. Although the pizza from the coal fired furnace was astounding, there was much more than Italian represented!. Croissants from a James Beard 2018 award winning bakery, a woman owned cookie shop, delectable bagel and lox from a "culturally Jewish" deli, Syrian pita and Arabic nutshop from the mideast, concluding with a sitdown sampling of delectable chocolates provided us a true taste of the area. Our tour guide, Mickey, was very engaging, and solicitous.
