Very nice blend of circus with Khmer culture! The pre-show school kids doing traditional dance may have actually been my favorite part. Personally, I would eat elsewhere in Siem Reap rather than at the overpriced tourist trap on the circus grounds. If you are comparing this circus to others around the world, it isn't bad, but it isn't amazing either. If you are looking for traditional Khmer culture, this is good, but there are more authentic and much less expensive experiences for that. That said, I actually DO recommend Phare as a very fun experience for the whole family.

The Phare Circus is an absolute must-see in Siem Reap! This isn't just another circus - it's a mesmerizing blend of acrobatics, storytelling, and Cambodian culture that leaves you with a warm glow long after the show ends. The performers are incredibly talented, and knowing that they're graduates of Phare's social program makes the experience even more meaningful. I took the backstage tour with Sorya, our knowledgeable guide, who shared fascinating insights into the circus's history and mission. The venue has a great setup with a nice restaurant where you can grab dinner before the show. I was so impressed that I couldn't resist stopping by their shop afterward - went home with a cap, t-shirt, and some beautiful paintings as mementos. What really sets Phare apart is how they've created something that's both world-class entertainment and a force for positive change in Cambodia. They're not just putting on amazing shows; they're transforming lives through their arts education program. A highlight of my trip to Cambodia - worth every penny and then some!

This was the fourth time I’ve been to Phare. We saw Sokha and was moved. The story of the show was beautiful with its comedic points as well. So well done. The performance was absolutely incredible and the performers was amazing. Also love the fact it’s a NGO and gives back to the community and people in need. Can’t wait to go again.

The show was great, well put together. The performers were talented and it’s great to see them being supported in the artistic community. I would recommend it to those who appreciate artists who can balance, twist, hang, cartwheel and more, whilst telling a story. Well done to all! The musicians were fantastic too. The seats in the C-section were fine and I could see all I needed to see. The overall atmosphere was great.

The performance far outstripped my expectation. They pulled off some tricks I'd never seen, and I have been to many shows including Cirque. Great energy, excellent characters on a limited narrative.

Fun evening, well organised, decent food and nice cocktails on site. Seems to be quite good with ensuring local communities are taken care of, with supporting the local arts school and artists.
