Five-Star Experience with Peru Hop – Above and Beyond
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We were a group of 16 staying outside of Lima on the coast near Asia, which made organizing a trip to Paracas and Huacachina a bit complicated. From the very first message, Peru Hop was incredibly responsive, patient, and helpful. Luiggi worked with me to arrange a private 2-day tour with pickup directly from our location, which made everything seamless. The itinerary they put together was fantastic and well balanced. We visited the slave tunnels, took a boat tour to Islas Ballestas, explored Paracas National Reserve, enjoyed a vineyard tour and tasting at CulturPisco, and ended in Huacachina with dune buggies, sandboarding, and a stunning sunset over the dunes. What really made the experience exceptional was our guide, Arturo. He was organized, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure our group had an amazing time. He coordinated lunch stops so we could pre-order and have everything ready when we arrived, shared great recommendations for the rest of our trip, and even took photos and videos of our group and sent them afterward. He went above and beyond in every way. Traveling with a large group can be challenging, but Peru Hop made it effortless. The private transport, thoughtful planning, and personal touches made this one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. I would absolutely recommend Peru Hop to anyone, especially if you’re looking for a well-organized, stress-free experience with outstanding service.

Let's go with the most important thing...the tour guide, Liz. She is what made the trip, yes the flight and experience itself was good, however she is what made the bad parts to be overlooked. Liz was professional, knowledgeable, personable and had a smile that overcomes the other frustrations. DON'T LOSE HER! The bad: Terrible logistics for this company. To much wasted time..4 hour wait to go back? Stopping at sites already visted? Your logistics and processes need work. Let's go back to what an outstanding employee has done to make those not as bad.........LIZ! If not for her there would have been more dissatisfaction...by others as well as myself. I could go on about this tour guide and fill the page!

I booked this trip to Peru without a clear plan or expectations, and it turned out to be a truly eye-opening experience that showcased the country’s incredible beauty and culture. A special thank you to Bo, our guide, whose energy and leadership set the tone for the entire journey. He made sure everyone felt comfortable, took the time to listen, and offered thoughtful guidance whenever it was needed. The sense of community he fostered on the bus was remarkable, we started as strangers and left feeling like family. Along the way I gained a brother for life, and Bo, I genuinely appreciate the connection we built. Thank you for your time, your dedication, and for joining me in karaoke on my first night in Huacachina, a memory I’ll always value. This journey will stay with me for years to come. If you ever find yourself in Toronto, the invitation stands. I’ll gladly return the favour as your personal guide.

Be ready for a long bus ride……but it’s worth it.
Be ready for a very long bus ride to and from. At least the bus was very comfortable. Most people slept both ways. The three events were interesting. The hi-speed boat ride to the islands was a lot of fun and we did see a lot of wild-life. Mostly birds and sea-lions. It was great to see them in their natural habitat. The tour of the Paracas Reserve had some good scenery, but be ready to see basically nothing but desert sand. Pretty desolate. This is where the desert meets the ocean and presented some good sites. The final event….the slave tunnels, was also an unexpected experience. It’s pretty much away from the beaten trail, but worth the trip. Miguel was a great guide and worked hard to be sure we understood the history and culture of each location.
