I can’t say enough incredible things about our Peru Hop tour guide, Sergio Tarazona. From the very beginning, we were always informed, organized, and completely taken care of—but what truly set him apart was everything beyond that. He didn’t just guide us from place to place; he brought Peru to life. Every stop came with rich stories, local insight, food recommendations, cultural context, and genuine passion. You could feel how much he cared about making sure we didn’t just see Peru, but actually experienced it. He anticipated needs before we even had them, went above and beyond in ways big and small, and made every moment feel effortless and meaningful. At one point, I left a bag on a shuttle—and not even a Peru Hop bus. I honestly thought it was gone for good. Sergio somehow tracked it down and arranged for it to be brought back to me the very next day. I still can’t believe it. That level of care and follow-through says everything about who he is. What made this experience even more special is that I never felt like I just had a tour guide—I felt like I had a friend looking out for me the entire time. What I didn’t expect was how much this trip would impact me personally. He created an environment that brought people together, and somehow turned a group of strangers into real, lasting friendships. That’s rare—and it speaks volumes about the kind of person he is. This wasn’t just a great tour. It was the most memorable trip of my life. If you have the chance to travel with Sergio, take it. It will be something you carry with you long after you leave Peru.

Great way to a lot of Perú in a short time!

We primarily had Lui for our guide and he was very informative! The Perú Hop team was really good with communication and setting the right expectations for all of our tours. Very happy with the hotels we selected as well! Highly recommend this trip!

Amazing guided tour

Fully guided trip from early in the morning until then evening with guides Aymeth and David. Everything was smoothly arranged, activities were very fun. Especially the sand buggy ride and the sliding down on the snowboard on the sand dunes. Very passionate and exciting guides. They succeed to excite everybody. Very comfortable bus as well.

Amazing trip to huacachina

I did the 2 day trip so stayed in huacachina for 1 night which was perfect. the trip itself was amazing. Perfectly organised with stops along the way and the guides where amazing.

Great trip. My only advice is to bring your own snacks/food and skip lunch at the vineyard. The food wasn’t good at all. Buy dinner in Huacachina instead

A great day - we saw and did a lot, wow! Greatly organised (even with a hotel pickup and dropoff by small bus to/from the big bus) & our guide Ana made sure we felt safe & heard all the time. Can highly recommend!

For the itinerary, I'm not sure this trip could have been run any better. Emerson and the team were EXTREMELY organized and communicative, making sure everyone was on time so we got to every point on the itinerary on schedule and most importantly got home at a decent hour (~10pm). The bus was private for our tour, as were the boats, and it was very comfortable. Regarding the trip itself, it's a lot of time in the bus and on boats. The hike on Isla del Sol was very nice. There isn't a lot of time to sit and relax, but at the same time there isn't a whole lot to do. The only recommendation I'd have is it would be great if there were recommendations on some of the best photo points on the trip.

With all appreciation to the planned trip — the first part felt a bit boring since we had already gone swimming with sea lions the day before. But the ending made it all worth it — sandboarding was absolutely outstanding! 🏜️✨

Great tour guides, drivers, great paced tour

Ana was fantastic all 3 days we had her. The other guide in Nasca for the aqueduct tour and the driver of the shuttle there and to Huacachina, also fantastic. Had a slight problem with our pickup to Nasca flight, driver was 40 minutes to an hour late - not good, but everything else was wonderful, especially the Ballestras Island tour..saw soooo much wildlife! Loved it!

Cuidado en schedule. Traducción simultánea, cuidado de sus turista (cliente). Amabilidad. Es decir, gente muy bella. Gracias, Arturo, Nicky (gracias por el Bizcocho de chocolate por Mi cumpleaños 💕🎂🥰), Diego, Listen (chofer del buggy: lo hizo divertido y seguro), chofer que nos llevó hasta el aeropuerto (señor muy amable). Sergio and Nikki did great with the tour, This tour was absolutely incredible and truly exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment it started, everything was well organized, professional, and enjoyable. The guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the history and culture of the place, which made the experience even more special. The itinerary was perfectly planned — we were able to see all the important highlights while still having enough time to enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. Every location was beautiful, interesting, and full of fascinating stories. What impressed me the most was the attention to detail and how the guide made sure everyone in the group felt comfortable and engaged. They answered all our questions and shared insights you would never learn on your own. If you are visiting this destination, I highly recommend this tour. It is definitely a 5-star experience and worth every minute. I would absolutely do it again!!
