Amazing tour!

We had the best tour with Lui! He was so welcoming and kind and looked after us so well. The wildlife at Ballestas Islands was amazing, and then the sand buggys were so much fun. Watching the sunset altogether and saying cheers with a pisco was the best way to end the day!

This was a once in a...

This was a once in a lifetime experience. We got to see so much and all the views were amazing. Paracas was beautiful and the sea lions were super cute. We also went to a local vineyard and tasted traditional pisco sours. I will say that a lot of our group’s orders got messed up, but other than that it was good. The buggy experience was the best and so was sandboarding. Arturo is the best tour guide!

My husband was ready to kill me when I told him we were taking a 17 hour tour. After our first stop in Paracas, he was ready to admit he was wrong. Our tour guide Lui was absolutely amazing. My husband has celiac disease so eating out is always a challenge and Lui was on top of it. He made sure everything my husband ate was gluten-free and safe for him. He even brought my husband's plates to the table himself. He really went above and beyond. Lui narrated everything in Spanish and English perfectly. All of his instructions were clear and precise, and always done with a big smile on his face. We're on the bus back to Lima right now and even though we had a long long day, everybody on the bus is chatting and laughing and having fun. It's amazing considering none of us knew each other when we met at 6:45 this morning. I would recommend this tour through PeruHop to anyone and if you can get Lui as your tour guide then you're really in luck!

Day trip

Lui made this trip incredible! He flawlessly transitioned from Spanish to English the entire time - I’ve never seen anything like it. As an fyi meals really aren’t provided - you preorder lunch with the group for 35 solis per person, and then everything else is on your own. You also only belly board in the sand dunes - If you want to stand and board or ski definitely rent upon arrival at Huacachina. Overall it was probably the best day of our trip! We enjoyed every part. Bus was comfortable, clean and having WiFi was a big plus.

Tour-i with Lui.

A great tour with Lui! The organisation and communication before the trip was clear, and throughout the day the tour was really well run. Lui was really friendly and helpful. The boat tour, lunch, Pisco tasting, and bus ride were great. The Dune Buggys were the worst thing I've ever done, and I will never recover.

Excellent experience, highly recommended

We had an amazing experience - a long day, but it was worth it. The highlight was the dune buggy and sandboarding and then watching the sunset in the dunes. Our guide for the day, Lui, was excellent and looked after us so well. He did a brilliant job of explaining everything we needed to know during the day and keeping us organised. Highly recommended.

Incredible day!

We had a very nice day! We got the chance to see penguins, sea lions, and more, which was a great experience. Lui was a good guide, and the buggy tour was amazing. That said, I’d recommend buying bottled water somewhere other than the place suggested in Huacachina, as it was about twice the price compared to other nearby restaurants.

Fantastic tour

Had a wonderful time in this tour! Saw tons of animals, they really take you very close to them during the boat ride! The dune buggy is a great experience as well! Lui, our guide, was also very good and organized!

Bate e volta em paracas e huacachina

Bate e volta perfeito de Lima para Ilhas Ballestas (em paracas) e o Deserto/Oasis de huacachina. Tivemos um almoço tradicional, uma degustação de pisco, um passeio de buggy e descemos as dunas de ssndboard. Mas o ponto mais alto mesmo da viagem foi o guia Lui, muito simpatico e atencioso.

Worth the early start and late finish

Our tour and tour guide Lui was absolutely amazing!!! The paracas boat trip was informative and efficient. The sand buggy trip and sand boarding was exhilarating and so much fun…. Sunset on the dunes was finished with a toast with a small amount of wine. It was worth the 6am start and 12 midnight finish… The only thing that I do have to comment on is the food at the lunchtime stop was overcooked and dry…the pisco tasting was fun tho

Excellent experience

Excellent experience. This is a long day but very much worth the early start and late finish. The day is full of such varied experiences from wildlife to wine tasting to a great fun buggy tour and sand boarding in the desert. Lui was an excellent guide who kept the group informed and organised. The bus is also very comfortable for the long journey to and from Lima. I would highly recommend this tour

Fun day out!

We did the Perú Hop day trip from Lima and it was full of fun! Lui our tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. We got to see penguins and sea lions on the boat trip and the oasis was something else! The dune buggy ride was a bit too much for some of us in the vehicle so if booking keep hold on tight and don’t sit at the back.
