We traveled from Lima to Paracus, Huacachina, Arequipa, & finished in Cusco. We totally loved the experience-up to the overnight & 15 hour trips. Nothing bad happened (except a little altitude sickness hit), but the trips were just too long for us (mid 50’s). There was a beautiful place we stopped on our way to Cusco, but the ride segments were just so long. Too bad there aren’t cute little stops built in to that trip?!

Elmer is a legend!
Our experience with Peru Hop was amazing and this was largely due to our guide, Elmer. I have been to over 70 countries and I’ve experience with many guides, and I can say that Elmer is undoubtedly one of the very best I’ve come across. He’s so good at his job, it’s ridiculous. Peru Hop are very lucky to have him. Firstly, he’s a really cool guy. He actually becomes friends with everyone in the group. He has a real ability to connect with people, to make people feel comfortable and to create a fun atmosphere. The great energy he creates within the group is something that most guides simply do not have the capability of doing, and it’s a game changer for the whole trip. He’s very charismatic and confident, and as a character, is born for this type of job. He’s clearly very passionate about Peru and is genuinely happy to show visitors around his country. We were with Elmer all the way from Lima to Arequipa, and it’s not an exaggeration to say that our enjoyment of each place was significantly enhanced because of Elmer. The way he hyped us up for places before arriving there meant that we were way more excited than we would have been without him. His speeches at the top of the bus were top class. His way of speaking captivates the whole group, almost as if he’s delivering a stand up comedy performance. His tour around the Afro-Peruvian Haciendo and also, his speech at sunset at Huacachina were particular highlights where his performance as a guide was just astonishing. He has so much knowledge of his country, and of the different places, and he delivers all of this information in a very digestible and fun way. The amount of little tips and tricks, or advice, that he gives is amazing, and he is also very willing to help more, always asking us to reach out to him anytime if we need him. I would encourage Peru Hop to have all of their guides shadow Elmer to see how to do the job in an elite way. If Elmer was to change career path, he could make a lot of money in sales or a similar path. Characters like him are super rare and I hope Peru Hop appreciate what a talent they have.

Amazing day for the family
Our tour guide, Aymeth, was amazing, organized and clear. She explained every detail of the trip and was a delightful tour guide. The experience itself was great. We had three children with us, ages 9, 7 and 12 and they had such a great time.

Amazing day connecting the nature and the history of Ica
Deborah and Paul have been amazing tour guides, having lots of information, we felt very comfortable with them and they are very well organised. Breathtaking natural wonders and dark Peruvian secrets
Absolutely unforgettable. As a solo traveler I don’t usually do group tours, but this one was exceptional - especially the tour of Hacienda San José, which was delivered sensitively and powerfully by our guide, Paul. Amazing views of Paracas’ vultures riding the thermals at eye level from the national park, with a highly informative narrative from Deborah. Efficient and well-timed from start to finish. Perfect for anyone seeking a quieter and more informative alternative to the adrenaline-based activities in this part of Peru.

interesting experience. allowed me to learn more about another phase of Peruvian history - slavery. Also see a different kind of natural beauty in Paracas National Park. I am especially grateful to the guides Deborah and Paul for their sincere work

Es la primera vez que vengo a Perú y la verdad que Perú hop, es genial, son flexibles con los horarios, puedes ir a tu ritmo, los buses son amplios, super puntuales y el equipo humano un diez! Sobre todo Boris, nuestro guía un crack! Si vuelvo a Perú, volveré a contar con ellos.

Stress free travel
We enjoyed our Peru Hop tour because it took a lot of the planning stress away from our shoulders. We planned the other portions of our trip and it is time consuming to research areas and figure out transportation and activities. We found the buses very comfortable and roomy. Our hosts were all very upbeat and kind, especially Nicki. She accompanied us to the Nazca flight.
