Worth the long day!

It was a long day day, but completely worth the early start and late return for all of the fun that we experienced. Our guide was knowledgeable, kind and very good at keeping us on track for our activities. The tour size was great, the bus was comfy for the ride.

Fantastic Tour made better by Boris

We had an incredible time on our tour! Our host Boris was amazing. He made sure that we were comfortably and had everything we needed throughout our time on the tour. Boris was excellent for ensuring we experienced the authentic local side of Peru on each place we visited on the tour. Can't recommend him enough. 10/10. This was definitely the best way to explore Peru. Very convenient with no stress trying to travel from place to place. Would definitely recommend!

Good Experience - Set your expectations low

Hi chicos y amigos. I have done a fair number of viator tours, so I am honest about them and have perspective. Don't believe the five star average on viator. It is a really long day. And I don't think Viator did a good job explaining the schedule. You are picked up before 5:30 am and return to your hotel at around 11:30 pm. I learned this the night before when I got a communication from the tour. My family almost killed me when I informed them. Most of that time is spent on a bus. If I had it to do over again, I would have looked for a shorter trip. I thought the heavily advertised bus was like a C+. That was why I actually picked this tour because they promoted the bus so much and I knew I was going to be on it a lot. It had a bathroom - no toilet paper allowed. You have USB (no outlets). So bring an adapter because almost everyone has USB-C now. The bus will be packed. We were full. The tour organizer doesn't do much. Just takes you from place to place, sleeps most of the time (which makes sense because she is working from probably 4 am - midnight everyday). Paracas was ok. really crowded boat. We saw like five penguins and a bunch of sea lions and a lot of bird guana. Viator won't let me tell you want guana is, becuase it is considered profane. lunch was forgettable. Pisco tasting was really lame. You don't see the vineyards. You just try to some pisco. If I was looking for a tour, I would do one that doesn't have the pisco stop. Huacachina really cool. The sand dunes, the surfing, the dune buggy ride, the oasis. Really impressive. If I had it to do over again, I would probably have just found a Huacachina tour and skipped the rest. Although to be fair this was the first time I have ever seen penguins in the wild so maybe you do need Paracas too. You order your dinner ahead of time. They suggest eating it on the bus. We ate ours quickly before leaving and that was a good decision. It was fine. You will be shocked to hear we had Lomo Saltado - like the national dish of Peru. It was actually good. Then long ass bus ride back. Straight to bed. You don't need flip flops. You need close toed shoes. I saw a lot of reviews that said you need a jacket on the boat ride. Probably do sometimes. We did not, but bring a sweatshirt or something just in case. My suggestion is you look long and hard at the schedule and think about what you want when comparing to other alternatives. This is probably a 3 or 4 star tour. I never know in other countries if I can pull out a drone and use it. I assume no. FWIW, you can totally bring a drone to Huacachina. Some dude did, and probably totally worth it. He also proposed to his fiance at sunset. Well done, sir.

A must do!

The most amazing experience! So much fun and was able to see so many things in one day! Of course the star of the show was the dune buggies in Huacachina but everything felt taken care of all we had to do is trust out guide which we most definitely did! 10/10

We had a fantastic 2 day...

We had a fantastic 2 day tour with Neil as our guide. He was very knowledgeable, fun, and did a great job keeping everyone informed of the plans. We were very impressed with PeruHop, it was a very well run organization. All activities, bus transfers, and meeting points/timelines were well communicated and went off without a hitch. The busses were comfortable, although the first one had small legroom. With the amount of driving between destinations, we were very happy to do this in 2 days instead of 1. It was a more relaxed pace (although day 2 is long, but worth it), and added some more activities that the one day tour doesn't offer. Fio was our guide on the return to Lima and she was great to help organize all the drop offs. I would highly recommend using PeruHop for bus tours, especially this 2 day from Lima!

Excellent trip!

Had a great experience on this trip. Bus was comfy and on time at each stop. Peru Hop pick you up and drop you off at your Lima hotel. As a solo traveller this made the journey easy. The group were great and it was a good way to get chatting to other people Our guide Bo was excellent! He had great knowledge of Peru which he shared with us, He had great energy and was always smiling. He also kept us updated with exactly what was happening via WhatsApp and took plenty of photos and videos for us. I thought this trip was excellent value and wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again. Thanks Bo, a great experience!

Excellente expérience avec Peru Hop

Je suis partie de Lima avec Peru Hop, avec un arrêt à Paracas et un autre à Huacachina. Notre guide Boris était formidable, très sympa et très à l’écoute. Le fonctionnement de Peru Hop est juste incroyable. Cela facilite énormément le voyage et en tant que solo, on se sent en parfaite sécurité. Mon aventure continue vers Arequipa avec un autre guide.
