Strongly recommend Peruhop as an operator. We used them between Arequipa and Lima. It is a very efficient way to cover a lot of ground quickly. Smooth journeys, friendly and informative guides (shout out to Lui and Edo) & fun experiences (paid / those included). WiFi on buses actually works - better than most hostels!

Amazing experience
We had the most amazing time with Boris on Peru Hop! He was charismatic and friendly, and we really enjoyed having him as our host. Peru Hop had everything organised to a T - including pre-ordering meals and the activities. - the bus was comfortable and the pick ups/ drop offs were smooth.

Cusco - Huacachina- Lima
Had a trip from Cusco to huacachina to Lima. Brenda was my tour guide! She was amazing. Very friendly, full of information, made the long journey a lot of fun! Would definitely recommend Peru Hop. Easy, safe, and reliable way to get around Peru and Bolivia.

Great experience
Bo was an amazing host and our whole trip was organised in all details. Buses were very comfortable and the trips offered very good. If I can make a note it would be about the pisco sour farm tasting which was rushed and not very interesting.

Do it
Honestly, I had a great time, and for the price, it wasn’t bad. I booked all my hotels except in Lima through the Peru Hop website. Everything went smoothly. The only spot that was a little weird to figure out was when we stopped in Nazca, and the rest of the group continued on. Ana was still very helpful and answered all the questions I had. It was just strange because our whole next day was with a different tour company. I guess Peru Hop and the other tour company have a partnership of sorts. Everything went smoothly once we figured everything out, and the people were nice all around and super helpful. All around, it was a great trip. Shout out to Ana most of all. She was great. Shout out to Joselyn and Liz too. There were other people too, but I’m terrible with names. Side note. The dune buggy’s and sand boarding are so worth it.

Sandboarding is way underhyped on this tour. Absolutely amazing day.

Good trip overall, but comfort and group matching could be better
The pickup and bus ride were good and well organized. The overall trip was enjoyable, but there are a few things that could be improved. The boat ride was my biggest issue. I am 6’2”, and the legroom on the boat was very bad, so it was uncomfortable for me. We also had a very slow boat driver, and it felt like every other boat was passing us. The sand dunes were okay, but I think the company should do a better job matching people in the same buggy. In my buggy, we had young guys around 20 years old and older ladies around 65, so the driver had to keep it much slower than some of us wanted. We could see other buggies going much faster, which made it a little disappointing. My biggest feedback is that they should have guests fill out a form before the dune buggy ride about risk tolerance or speed preference. Then they could put people with the same energy level in the same buggy. That would make the experience better for everyone. Overall, it was still a good trip, but the boat comfort and buggy group matching could definitely be improved.

I wanted to share some concerns about my experience with the tour. There were several things I did not like. First, the lunch was cold and had very little flavor. The service overall was also not good. In addition, the information provided about Huacachina stating that nobody accepts credit cards was not accurate. I was able to pay for souvenirs and other purchases with my credit card. I was also disappointed with the buggy experience. The buggies were very badly organized, and I was placed in the third row near the back wheels. There was no easy way to get into that seat, and nobody offered me a solution or assistance. I am 63 years old, and I believe seating arrangements should be better organized, especially considering comfort and accessibility for older passengers. I expressed my concern to the buggy driver, but instead of helping, he laughed, which I found very unprofessional and disrespectful. While we were on the dunes, several of us asked the driver not to drive so aggressively because the ride felt too intense. Despite our concerns, he continued driving the same way and ignored our requests. I also found the driver's attitude unprofessional. He often gave commands such as “come here” or “do this” without basic courtesy such as saying “please.” During stops on the dunes, instead of interacting with the group or checking on passengers, he would sit away from everyone to smoke cigarettes and had very little communication with us beyond giving orders. I would also like to mention that the guide repeatedly addressed everyone as “hello chicos” throughout the tour. I personally did not find this professional, especially considering that the group included people of different ages. Another issue was that nobody informed us that there were other restaurant options available in Huacachina. After the buggy ride, we were only directed to a hotel location to buy dinner, which gave the impression that there were no other choices. Overall, I was disappointed with the organization, communication, and service, and I hope these issues can be addressed for future customers.

A Nice Day!
The whole day was very beautiful. The Tour was organised very well. The Pickup was on time. We saw everything that was promised. The Guides where very motivated and energetic. The only thing i would like a bit more would be more information in general. The Guids have a lot of knowledge, at the same time I felt some things where incoherent, or maybe lost in translation.

Great experience with Peru Hop and Guide Anna
I couldn't recommend Anna more highly! Our recent trip to Paracas and Huacachina was absolutely unforgettable, thanks in large part to her. She was incredibly knowledgeable, bringing the history and beauty of each location to life with fascinating details. From navigating the stunning scenery in Paracas to ensuring we had a fantastic time in the oasis of Huacachina, her energy and expertise made the entire experience seamless and deeply engaging. We felt so well taken care of the whole time!
