4 Day Tour from Lima is totally worth it.
I am writing 2 different reviews of PeruHop because we went on 2 different excursions. The PeruHop 4 Day tour from Lima was very good. We enjoyed all of the included activities as well as an optional trip to Cahuachi Pyramids. I am not sure why, but it took a lot of extra effort to get the add-on trip to the pyramids and they were well worth it. They were amazing and very deserving of a visit. Our co-guide, Nilo, was exceptional. Our lunch was running late on Day 2 so he helped serve it to us. Our bus also broke down at lunch on Day 2. Nilo made changes to the pickup point for dune buggy activity to ensure we received the whole experience. He (and other guides) quickly loaded our luggage on the new bus. And got us back up and running in no time. We also stayed at several good, clean hotels including Los Freyles (which could benefit from chairs in the room), Curasi, and Hotel Alegria. If there was one thing I wished they improved, it would be around the bus loading process. It seemed like loading of the buses always started late and took longer than it should.

Full Day Lake Titicaca Tour was a big disappointment.
I am writing 2 different reviews of PeruHop because we went on 2 different excursions. This was the first one. I was disappointed in the PeruHop 1 Day Lake Titicaca. First, we waited before and after our tour at a hostel that was not very nice. Secondly, the reed boat ride wasn’t very traditional. It had 2 seating levels made of metal scaffolding…not very traditional. Third, we didn’t get to see the temples on Amantani Island. The boat had to slow down because of dangerous wave conditions (the guide’s words, not mine). So instead of temples, we had 10 minutes to look around an uninteresting town square (or use a restroom). Then we had to suffer through even worse waves back to Llachon peninsula. If we weren’t going to see the temples, then I don’t understand why we “risked” dangerous waves rather than just skipping Amantani island and having an on-time lunch at Llachan peninsula. This was my least favorite day of the 20 days spent in Peru.

Luis was an awesome tour guide! He communicated with us promptly and arranged what we needed. Peru Hop is good if you want tours and information but is not the most efficient mode of transport.

Great time using Peru Hop
I had a great time using Peru Hop. The bus picked us up right at our hotel. Our tour guide Moni was amazing. She made sure that everyone was having fun and were informed about the schedules. She was also very knowledgeable about the locations we were going to. She went above and beyond and had a special surprise to celebrate a few guest birthdays. Our other local tour guides were great. The golden shadow track was a highlight for me, iur tour guide was really knowledgeable and took really fun photos. I really liked the customization of the Peru hop tours. I don't know how the tour guides kept track of where everyone was going next, but they did, and it felt pretty seamless. The sand dune buggies add on activity was fun and the dunes were beautiful, but would caution that the local tour operators don't give much or any safety debrief. Overall would highly recommend Peru Hop!

Thrill ride for 2 days
Amazing from the get go! Really well planed and executed 2 day tour. I did not find myself waiting around for some thing to happen . There was constantly a lot of activity. The dune buggy rides were exhilarating. The sand boarding was novelty and fun. I was awestruck during the paracas tour. The nazca lines gave some clarity on the origin etc. we did get food poisoning after eating at the Wild Rover hotel barbecue and it took more than 4 days am antibiotics to clear that bug. We only drank bottled water and even brushed our teeth with it. Overall, minus the food poisoning, 11/10. The bus was comfortable and always on time. The guide Sol was informative and very upbeat,

Our trip with Peru Hop
The landscapes were amazing, and the excursion was organised very well. We had a problem with a bus after the trip and our guide Julio Seasario was very helpful with us to find a solution. All the guides were very kind and very smiling during all the tour. I recommend Peru hop for an unforgettable trip in Peru !

We started in Lima and are currently working our way to Cusco.
Myself and my girlfriend Sarah found Peru hop very convenient and easy to use. The tour guides are brilliant. Jose Carlos and Franco in particular were brilliant guides. They were always there to help and answer any questions we had and also had a great sense of humour and were good fun! I would highly recommend using Peru Hop as your form of travel when visiting Peru

Organised and helpful staff
During our trip there were some protests that closed a highway. Peruhop communicated well with us (thank you Cynthia), was flexible and made it easy for us to reroute our travels. Despite the large number of people they need to keep track of at every stop, they were extremely organised and helpful, always answering our questions and providing clear instructions. Shout out to Deborah and driver Julio, Sergio, Elmer, Mar and driver Dani. Thank you everyone for all your help!!

Amazing tour organized by Marjarie and Arturo. They were on time and explained everything well. Enjoyed visiting the Ballestas Island the most!

Overall it was pretty good. The only thing was the bus back to Lima took too long, should more organized.
The view was amazing. The attractions were impressive. The tour guides are very professional. Some sights were unexpectedly breathtaking.

Fun 2 day
We had an amazing 2-day trip with Peru Hop! The whole experience was super well-organized and full of unforgettable moments. From the adrenaline-packed dune buggy ride in Huacachina to the beautiful wildlife at the Ballestas Islands boat tour, we had an amazing time. We also really enjoyed the peaceful National Reserve tour in Paracas and the fascinating hacienda visit on our way back to Lima. A huge thank you to our guides Raoul and Sergio – they were both incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and made the journey smooth and fun. Highly recommend Peru Hop for anyone wanting to explore the best of southern Peru in a short time!

2 great days with Peru Hop
We had a great time in these 2 days. We've seen amazing things and had so many interesting and adventurous activities. All staff of Peru Hop were amazing and the buses so comfortable. I feel so lucky for having this experience.

Bonne expérience avec Peru Hop, même avec un détour
Très bon service à la clientèle, tant de la part de l’équipe du service à la clientèle que de nos deux guides, Sergio et Rayoul. Nous n’avons pas pu prendre le bus d’Arequipa à Huacachina en raison d’une manifestation qui bloquait la route. Nous avons donc pris nos propres dispositions pour le transport, et nous avons reçu un remboursement pour la portion du trajet que Peru Hop n’a pas pu assurer. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’activité de dune buggy, qui a été l’un des moments forts de notre expérience.

Well organised tour
Huacachina was fantastic. Saw Seals, Penguins, Pelicans at Bellastas islands. Sand boarding and the buggy ride was great fun. Weather was great for seeing the Nazca lines. Planning and coordination was done very well by Peru Hop.

Jean Pierre the Peruvian PeruHop saviour!
We had a lot of troubles with PeruHop, but I am really glad that we had Jean Pierre as our guide. This guy is just amazing, great energy and great brain. He was able to find us a solution and give us proposals for every issue. If we were able to have a full Peru experience, without missing out on anything… is also thanks to him.
