A very fun experience of a different side to Peru

We did the 3 day tour with our guide Juancho. The communication was excellent and the logistics of the trip provided a lot of convenience to explore these areas. Schedules and activities were very flexible and Juancho was a very enthusiastic, informative and helpful guide. Lots of memorable experiences where we got to see so many sides to Peru I had not expected! The ATV ride and sandboarding in Huacachina followed by a sunset view across the dessert was an excellent end to our time in Peru.

Terrific organisation, great guides. I originally booked this to do Nazca only, but the sandboarding, sandbuggy and Paracas were amazing experiences.

Great experience

Juancho was exceptional. He kept the tour exciting and interesting, and it is evident he loves what he does. He is very knowledgeable about all the areas we visited. He always made himself available to answer all our questions and assist. His communication skills are excellent. His personality and professionalism encourage us to use Peru Hop on our next visit. My husband and I have no complaints and we hope this company appreciates his work efforts.

Great time with Juancho and Peru Hop!

Wonderful trip with Juancho and Peru Hop! Everything was well organized. Juancho was helpful and responsive to all our needs. He was a dedicated and passionate guide that shared his knowledge of Peru as much as possible. You can easily feel his proudness of being a Peruvian. After only two days with him, i am already in love with this country. Peru Hop helped us coordinate our tour and made full use of time to introduce us to some hidden gems which we could hardly visit without its help. 100% recommended!

Good experience!

Our host Juancho was fantastic at making us feel welcome and at building some group camaraderie. I think if there had been a critical mass of younger people in the group looking to party it would have gone off! Good overall value - dune buggy in Huacachina and boat trip at Paracas (included) were really cool. Pisco tasting and Paracas National Reserve your were alright. Consider other options for food and accommodation as some of the Peru hop options are a bit tourist-y.

Brilliant first half of full Peru Hop tour from Lima to Cusco with amazing staff who make the trip

We’re half way through our Peru Hop trip from Lima to Cusco and so far, everything Peru Hop has had to offer has been absolutely amazing. The drivers have done a stellar job on some very difficult roads so hats off to them. But the stars have been the tour guides. Nilo has been the life and soul of the tour, going above and beyond to show us and tell us about the real Peru. This really showed in the slave tunnels at Hacienda San José where Nilo talked through a part of the history of Peru not often spoken about and showed how important it is that is is discussed more. Ana has been wonderful, making sure the trip has run smoothly, but also in providing assurance and care to the passengers. Her and Nilo’s initiative to include the bull statues as an added piece of Peruvian history was heart warming and we thank them greatly for sharing that. Lastly, Alvaro and Ze Carlo have been great helps with all the excursions and have been great to have had along too. We highly recommend doing as many of the Peru Hop optional activities as possible as they are great fun, interesting and great value for money with knowledgable locals running them. The Huacachina dune buggy riding and Bellastas island tours have been highlights so far as well as seeing the Nazca lines by air! Thank you to the entire Peru Hop team from Lima so far and we can’t wait for the rest of the trip, Alex and Carla.

Peru Hop - from Lima to Arequipa

Cannot recommend Peru Hop more as a friendly, comfortable way to visit some amazing spots along the way to Cusco. Really enjoyed extras visits like the Pisco Vineyard tour, Paracas Reserve and the Hacienda San José tour. Must sees are the Ballestas Island Tour, Dune bugging in Huachachina and the Nazca Lines. Our fantastic hosts were Ana, Alvaro, Nilo and Ze Carlo. All were amazing and we are grateful to have spent part of our time in Peru with them. Wanted to give an extra shout out to Ana who was the logistics behind the tour and was super friendly and kept us well informed. Thank you Peru Hop!

Good communication via...

Good communication via WhatsApp in the lead up to the trip but due to a number of people doing different tours on the coach there was some confusion and lack of information once the journey started. I would not recommend the buffet lunch option in Paracas as there are a number of better relaxed options around without the chaotic feeding frenzy we experience. The pick up and coach trip was good, as was the tour we selected. Juan Carlos was our guide for the return trip to Lima, he was great, very knowledgeable and helpful and made this an enjoyable trip. Definitely worth doing.
