I had a very disappointing experience with Papillon Helicopters, especially considering that we paid for a Deluxe (luxury) tour. The problems started even before the tour itself. The transportation to the location was extremely unsafe. The bus driver drove recklessly, constantly leaving the lane and putting everyone at risk. Passengers were visibly scared, and people on the bus were screaming due to the dangerous driving. This was a very stressful and unacceptable way to begin what was supposed to be a premium experience. Other passengers, including a Spanish family traveling with us, witnessed the same situation. Regarding the tour itself, I paid for a Deluxe package, which clearly included: • A 30-minute helicopter flight • Food included as part of the experience However, once we were already in the air, we were informed that the itinerary had been changed due to alleged weather conditions. We were not informed in advance, nor were we given the option to decide whether we wanted to proceed with a modified tour. If this had been communicated beforehand, we could have made an informed decision. As a result of this change: • The helicopter flight ended much earlier than promised • The boat ride was extremely short • The return helicopter flight lasted less than five minutes • A significant amount of time was lost waiting on-site, trying to understand what would happen next, which further reduced the value of the experience we paid for In addition, even though food was included in the Deluxe package, we were required to pay out of pocket for part of the meal, receiving only a discount. This should not have happened, as food was clearly advertised as included. I am very familiar with this type of tour and have done similar premium helicopter experiences before. That is exactly why I chose Papillon, based on its reputation and recommendations. Unfortunately, this experience was the complete opposite of what was advertised and expected from a company positioning itself as a luxury operator. After the tour, I contacted the company and sent a detailed complaint to two of their main email addresses. I clearly explained everything that happened and stated that I was not necessarily requesting a full refund, but that at least a partial refund would be fair, given that a large portion of the promised experience was not delivered. They never responded. No explanation, no apology, no refund, and no partial reimbursement. We have full documentation of everything, including videos of the unsafe driving, videos and photos of the tour, receipts for the tour payment, receipts for the food that should have been included, and records of conversations with other passengers. Overall, we paid for a Deluxe luxury experience and received a significantly reduced and stressful tour, followed by a complete lack of customer support. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company, especially given the high price and lack of accountability when issues occur.

We had an absolutely amazing helicopter tour with Papillon Helicopters over the Grand Canyon. Our pilot Chris was fantastic — friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. The views were breathtaking and we enjoyed every minute! Highly recommend!

The Pièce de Résistance of my entire trip, my helicopter ride down to the inside of the Grand Canyon 😯😲😳🤯😁 Words really can't describe how awesome of an experience this is. We were able to pay an upgrade fee to sit in the front seat next to the pilot.
