(Translated by Google) An unforgettable experience. We booked the Grand Canyon tour with a landing and a small picnic in the Grand Canyon. At first, we were worried that the helicopter accelerations would be unpleasant, but the pilot flew incredibly carefully, and it was a lot of fun. Seeing the Grand Canyon and the Colorado River up close and enjoying the scenery and the sunset while flying overhead was an unforgettable experience. What we also particularly liked were the explanations from our pilot (Thomas?), who made us feel safe and secure even while flying. We weren't scared for a second. If we ever come back to Vegas, we'll definitely do it again! (Original) Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis.

(Translated by Google) The tour itself was good. The booking process, however, was terrible. After successfully booking, you receive an email stating that you must confirm your booking by phone 24 hours before the tour; otherwise, you'll only be on the waiting list for the hotel transfer (whatever that means). An additional phone confirmation is pointless from a process perspective because the credit card is charged immediately, so the risk lies with the customer. Furthermore, calling an American number is undoubtedly a hurdle for many, as some may not speak fluent English, and American numbers can incur exorbitant costs depending on mobile phone plans. In our case, it was fortunate that we called again, as Papillon apparently failed to forward our booking to the operating bus company, "Gray Line." This is another reason for the poor rating. The biggest outrage, however, is that our bus driver insisted on a $10 tip per person. An automated announcement on the bus stated that a $10 tip per person was acceptable. The fact that the bus driver insisted on it at the end is absolutely outrageous. During the final break at the end of the trip, he waited at each seat until he had the money. Even though tipping is more common in the US than in Germany, it's still the customer's decision whether and how much to tip. If this expectation is always the same as it is here, then Papillon should definitely include this in their tour description.

I booked yesterday for a tour but today whilst at the venue I was told they have a weight/balance issue so I cannot go on the tour. I booked last so fifo which is fair and this is in the t&c's. Then I was told that I did not supply the correct weight (I have weighed the same for 5 years), so not sure why I was told this. You would think they by now would have a fair understanding of this problem and found a solution, like adding 5% for contingency. They did offer to change the booking but had nothing on the day and I leave tomorrow so no good for me. So this was disappointing to say the least, after being picked up at the hotel, being weighed and then after 15 minutes of waiting being told we have bad news. The way this was handled was very poor in my view, I found the staff were rude about this and then said I should calm down after I told them this was incompetent at best. I am pretty sure if you actually get to go on the tour and face no problems you will have a good experience, but if things don't go well then it's really bad...guess this won't get ticked off the bucket list. It's a long long way from home (South Africa). The other two blokes that were in the ride over indicated that they had booked for the morning and were told yesterday there times would change. So based on this I would say you need to make your own contingency plans because this place is not interested.

(Translated by Google) The times advertised include travel time from the hotel. You spend more time in the shuttle than in the helicopter. Flight time is a maximum of one hour. And they don't guarantee you a seat in the front; if someone arrives and throws the helicopter off balance, you'll lose your seat.
