It was awesome! Go for the longer flight. It costs a little more but it is worth it in every way! I also paid the extra for the front seat and that also was worth every penny! Had a great experience and would do it again! I posted videos of the experience on my facebook page! They have great music they play in the headphones and the pilot, Trace, was friendly and informative!

Bringing warmer clothing is a good idea (we traveled in May, with daytime temperatures around 25°C/77°F), as it was noticeably cooler in the helicopter. The flight was very smooth. Kurz vor und nach dem Flug muss man etwas warten, was aber absolut OK ist. In Summe waren wir knapp 5h unterwegs. Den Zuschlag zur Sitzplatzauswahl würde ich auf jeden Fall wieder nehmen. Man sieht deutlich mehr und kann unglaubliche Bilder überm Hooverdamm und Grand Canyon Tal schießen. Las Vegas/ Strip war eine weitere Besonderheit. Neben der Super Unterhaltung durch den Piloten (engl.) gibt es auch über das Headset Informationen (inkl. deutschem Kanal). Der kurze Zwischenstopp zum Tanken direkt am Canyon war OK. Wärmere Kleidung dabei zu haben ist nicht schlecht (Reisezeit Mai, Tagestemperaturen bei 25 Grad), da es im Heli deutlich kühler war. Der Flug war sehr ruhig. Nicht ganz billig aber sehr zu empfehlen. Würde ich wieder machen.

Just got back from a tour with these people. What a joke! The limo they sent us had NO air conditioning and no water to drink. The heater was blowing hot air on us. The radio was on and then the power flickered and we lost total power in the back. When we arrived, we told them our issues with the ride over and asked not to be sent home the same way. They told us the problem had been fixed but we sweat the entire way home. With the SAME driver and SAME car that was"fixed" while we were on our helicopter ride... book somewhere else folks!! It's too hot in Vegas for no AC!!!!!

It was worth every penny and I would fly again and again. You are able to see and appreciate the canyon so much more than you ever could from the ground. This took a great vacation to an unforgettable life experience. You really can't go wrong with this, and though I have limited experience with helicopter flights in the grand canyon, Papillon was all around perfect. I would tell anyone that wants to go to the grand canyon, that they need to fly, and they can't go wrong flying with this company!

Truly one of the most incredible memories of my entire life. My boyfriend and I took the 45 minute helicopter tour over the South rim of the Grand Canyon. The views, the energy, the breathtaking feeling of flying over one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World....I highly recommend this company. They are super professional and passionate about their work. Check in was efficient and the customer service was excellent. They take your temperature, weigh you and have you watch a 5 minute safety video. You fly in state of the art EC-130 Eco Star helicopters with forward facing theater style seats and temperature regulated. We paid for the $50 upgrade per person to sit in the two front seats and it was absolutely worth it. I love photography so make sure to bring your best camera, top lens and get ready for the most astonishing vistas. Our pilot was beyond amazing. He made the experience that much more special. He pointed out hallmarks of the Canyon and also helped us spot a small pack of bison. He was kind enough to take photos for us afterwards. So much to say...but you should just do it and see for yourself...you'll be so glad you did.
